The author considers the important problem of manufacturing multilayer films — Triple Bubble® technology. He leads the classification of multilayer films and their production technologies. The author describes the three stages (extrusion, orientation, heat setting) technology Triple Bubble® and leads its main advantages. It is shown the basic material for the production of films by DuPont technology Triple Bubble®, advantages of packaging from these films.

Using printed nanophotonic elements on the packaging for assessing the quality of packaged products

There is analyzed the possibility of using printed nanophotonic elements of smart packaging for registration of the processes occurring in packaged foods during storage. There are established the correlations of suitability of a number of packaged products for consumption with fluorescent response of printed nanophotonic systems. There is confirmed the perspective of the usage of printed nanophotonic elements to ensure the functionality of novel food packaging.

Filling drinks in glass and PET bottles (сomparison of technologies)

The authors provides a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of technology packaging of carbonated beverages on the basis of glass and PET bottles. The major advantages of glass containers include its complete inertness to food and drinks, cheap natural raw materials and traditional technologies for its production, the possibility of using higher pressures for packing, including in order to achieve aseptic conditions.
The authors presents the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies applied, from which it follows that, although PET technology is rapidly captured a significant space in the production, but the glass container technology sector have a corresponding use of a high quality machine software.

Simulation of the polypropylene film shrinkage process

The results of the thermoshrinkable polypropylene film thermal shrinkage process experimental studies are studied. The depending shrinkage polypropylene film changes in the transverse and longitudinal directions of the temperature and the time of the process defined. Results of test numerical simulation of thermal shrinkage process are shown.

Automated packaging line are implemented complex processes, which are one process stream. Optimization of the process in one machine without incorporation connections with other machines lines, often resulting in that the entire process flow is far from optimal mode. The authors analyze the modern automatic machines for the packaging of products. In the article authors also formulate the basic requirements to them for optimal performance packaging process in an automated flow lines.

Mechanism of diecutting automatic press drive

It is marked in the article, that for a platten’s drive in diecutting presses lever tightening mechanisms are using, the lacks of construction of that are related to rocking motion. Such motion of the platten influences negatively on quality of cardboard oneup diecutting, worsens stability of press functioning and limits it productivity. A new diecutting automatic press drive is offered, that consists of complete sets of conical gearwheels, functioning of that removes the marked defects.
