The 2016 Fall Feasts of Yahweh are upon us. What shall we do?

I Cor 5: 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Yeshua our Passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Thereforelet us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The Feasts of Yahweh do so many things for us; they are word pictures, types and shadows prophetic models, along with a clear and concise Event Calendar of Yahweh’s simple, 7,000 year Earth cycle we are all living in.

The Spring Feasts are a picture of how HE planned to redeem His creation, Man, while the Fall Feasts are a picture of how HE plans to transition from His 6-day Normal Cycle to His 7th day, Sabbath Cycle, completing this brief exercise in eternity.

I have been keeping the Feasts the best I could for decades and we will examine the Fall Feasts and ways in which we all can attempt to please Yahwehduring what is called His APPOINTED Times. I have kept them as: an Orthodox Jew, from the House of Judah on my father's side, a Messianic Jew, a Hebrew Roots observer and now as a graphed and adopted New Covenant Priest, from the House of Israel, specifically, from the Tribe of Ephraim. In each one of these stages, I observed the Feasts to the best of my ability, in the knowledge I had at the time and depending if I was in Israel, or not.

So, what do I tell Believers to do on the Feasts of Yahweh? I tell everyone to hear from YHWH ON EXACTLY WHAT TO DO ON EACH FEAST! I no longer fast on Yom Kippur, unless I feel led to fast for Judah and/or Manasseh.

WHAT ARE THE FEASTS OF THE LORD? All covered in Leviticus 23

Lev. 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. 4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

SPRING FEASTS

(VS.5) 1. the Lord's Passover.(VS 6-8) 2. thefeast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: (VS. 9-14) 3.bring a sheaf of the first fruits 50 days later, (VS 15-21) ye number fifty days(PENTECOST), Weeks or Shavuot.

FALL FEASTS

(VS 23-25) a memorial of blowing of trumpets, (VS 26-31) day of atonement: (VS 32-44 the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD

Lev 23:44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

How Do we keep the Feasts? When you grasp the historical fact that YHWH changed the way and conditions the Passover and Unleavened Bread were to be kept, pre-Mt. Sinai and post-Sinai. You also have to answer the question, Why? In doing that, I realized there was a way Yahweh wanted His Feasts kept. After we refused the Covenant on Mt. Sinai, the relationship between us changes, as did how the Children of Israel were to keep the Feasts since His offer at Mt. Sinai to make us Kingdom Priests was withdrawn.

The Fall Feasts

Blowing of Trumpets

(Represents The Tribulation period known as Jacob’s Trouble.)

Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

8643. teruw'ah, ter-oo-aw'; from H7321; clamor, i.e. acclamation of joy or a battle-cry; espec. clangor of trumpets, as an alarum:--alarm, blow (-ing) (of, the) (trumpets), joy, jubilee, loud noise, rejoicing, shout (-ing), (high, joyful) sound (-ing).

There is almost no information on this Feast. So a really good Sabbath Party would be in order.

What Is Yom Kippur?

(Represents the Return of Yeshua, The resurrection of the Dead, and the Ending of The 6-Day Cycle of the Earth.)

Lev 23:26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

While Judah is still laboring under both the curse and the Law of Moses, Our YOM KIPPUR could be a day of rejoicing, not afflicting, because Yeshua has become our High Priest, offered His own blood for our atonement has made us acceptable Priests unto The Lord God Almighty! We live under the New and Everlasting Covenant! What is the Lord telling you to do?

What is Sukkoth-Booths?

(Represents The 7th Day Sabbath, Millennium, and the completion of this Earth Cycle.)

Lev 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath. :40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. :41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. :42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: :43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

This is your Fall Vacation! Camping parting and fun! How much better can it all get? This is a time of great fellowship and should be looked forward to just like our Sabbaths.

WHAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP DOES GOD WANT WITH US?

The Biblical Calendar, PASSOVER and UNLEAVENED BREAD were instituted 50 days before the Covenant of Law.

ROSH HASHANAH

EXODUS 12: 12:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. PASSOVER3a Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb,…6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.…:11bit is the LORD'S Passover…:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.UNLEAVENED BREAD 15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even……:17b: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever.

It is important to realize that this calendar and combination feast is established in Egypt, this is before the exodus and at least a month before the covenant of the law. (Most scholars believe it was fifty days later at the Feast of Weeks, Pentecost.) “Observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever,” is a "pre-law" commandment.

17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinanceforever…24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons forever. 25 And it shall come to pass, when ye come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.

GOD OFFERED THEM A RELATIONSHIP

Now God offers the entire nation a personal covenant to be in fellowship with Him.

EXOD 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

3rd DAY - GOD SPEAKS FROM THE MOUNTIAN—THE 10 COMANDMENTS—On the third day, God comes down the mountain, makes a dramatic entrance, gives the Ten Commandments---and it scares the people. EXOD 20:2—17 (Realize that the 10 Commandments were pre-law, as well as the Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread.)

THE PEOPLE REFUSED

EXOD 20: 18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

They didn’t want the relationship with God so he gave them “THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT, EXOD 20:22-23:33, So, they are NOT a Nation of Holy Priests---in fact, they immediately rebel against Yahweh, make a golden calf and proclaim, “It (the calf) was their deliverer from bondage and from Egypt.”

SO, WHAT IS THE NEW COVENANT? WHAT IS THE NEW YOM YIPPUR?

GOD PROMISES A NEW COVENANT

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: :32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD :33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

WHY WOULD GOD WANT A NEW COVENANT?

HEB: 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.,,,6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:... 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. READ HEBREWS 9:1-15

Gal 3: 24 Whereforethe law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Yeshua, that we might be justified by faith.25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Yeshua. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Yeshua have put on Yeshua. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Yeshua. 29 Andif ye be Yeshua's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

If WE have become the Priests of Yahweh then HE instructs us how to observe all things!

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Yeshua.

We are this Generation! He is restoring us!

Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Who Are We?

So, what do we do now under the New Covenant and the reality that we are called Kingdom Priests? Are we Judah, under the curse they called upon themselves when they rejected and had crucified Yeshua? Are WE Manasseh with only “a blessing” instead of “The Blessing? Or, are WE Ephraim, who has the blessing and is the Firstborn of Yahweh? Are WE the ones who have been Called & Chosen to Become the Priests after the Order of Melchizedek?

This is where "understanding who you ARE and who you ARE NOTbecomes critical. I know this is very deep but if you are "un-regenerated" Judah, you are still under the curse and the Covenant of Moses-Book of The Law, and you afflict yourself (Fasting has been the choice of most). If you are regenerated Ephraim (most are being called out of all traditional religions), our redeemer and redemption has come. Under our New Covenant, we should rejoice for our part of the family and pray for Judah's blinders to be removed. The people of the traditional church, who I refer to as Manasseh, having the Manasseh Syndrome because they don’t have eyes to see or ears to hear, are either trapped in Babylonian Christianity or Babylonian Messianic Judaism.

Not only did the Rabbi’s add a “Rosh Hashanah” to the Fall Feasts and change Yom Kippur into a “works based” salvation exercise, the Christians got their Eschatology sequence of events out of order. In Hebrew Eschatology, the Feast of Trumpets represent the Tribulation (Jacob's Trouble) while Yom Kippur reflects the resurrection of the dead, return of Yeshua, and Restoration of ALL Israel. Succoth is the millennium, 1000-year reign.
