Approval and deletion of ITU-T Recommendations

A.1 By TSB Circular 81 of 2 March 2006, it was announced that the following ITU-T Recommendations were deleted, in accordance with the procedures outlined in §8.2 of ITU-T Recommendation A.8, of the WTSA (Florianópolis, 2004):

– ITU-T Recommendation J.168 (09/03/2001): IPCablecom Media Terminal Adapter (MTA) MIB requirements

– ITU-T Recommendation J.169 (09/03/2001): IPCablecom network call signalling (NCS) MIB requirements

– ITU-T Recommendation J.174 (13/02/2002): IPCablecom interdomain quality of service

– ITU-T Recommendation J.176 (29/07/2002): IPCablecom management event mechanism MIB

The conditions governing the deletion of ITU-T Recommendations were met and 14 Member States and 15 Sector Members participating in the meeting of Study Group 9 (Geneva, from 17 to 21October 2005) proposed to delete these ITU-T Recommendations. Nine Administrations of Member States responded to the consultation on 1 March 2006, and no objection to these deletions were received.

A.2 By TSB AAP-32 of 16 March 2006, it was announced that the following ITU-T Recommendation was approved, in accordance with the procedures outlined in ITU-T RecommendationA.8:

Note from TSB

At the request of the Administration of Guam, and with the approval of the United States, the Director of TSB has withdrawn the E.212 mobile country code (MCC) = 535, for the international mobile networks of Guam, in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation E.212.

Structure of the Numbering Plan

The numbering plan is based on a closed numbering scheme, with each subscriber having a fixed number of digits. The number consists of area codes or operator codes corresponding to the province or the operator and the subscriber number corresponding to individual subscriber numbers.
