Functional Area: Endowments Management / Run Average Daily Cash Balance Report - Income Distribution
Purpose
Use this procedure to run the Average Daily Cash Balance Report – Income Distribution which provides the average daily cash balance used to calculate the most recent TIP Income Distribution for the participating funds or fund groups.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when the TIP Income Distribution and Assessment Process has been run.
Prerequisites
  • ZENDW_03 – Fund Comparison
  • ZENDW_05 – TIP Income Distribution
Menu Path
Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:
  • Enter ZEM into the Command field and click .
  • Select Basic FunctionsInformation SystemAverage Daily Cash Balance Report- Income Distribution to go to the Average Daily Cash Balance Report screen.

Procedure
1. / Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.
Average Daily Cash Balance Report

2. / As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field / R/O/C / Description
PrincipaI Fund / Required / A fund which holds the principal of an endowment; a fund which holds an asset. A grant, debt or other fund which holds cash may be considered a principal fund for the functional purposes of the Temporary Investment Pool . An endowment fund which holds cash will be considered a principal fund for the purposes of the General Investment Fund "A".

Leave this field blank if you want the report to include all funds and fund groups that participated in the TIP Income Distribution process.
Ledger / Required / A type of record keeping system that maintains financial data consistent with specific areas of accounting for transactional recording, reporting and analysis purposes

Fiscal year / Required / State of Ohio mandated fiscal year (accounting period) running from July 1st of one year to June 30th of the following year

Distribution Period / Required / The fiscal month for which the TIP Income Distribution/Assessment is calculated.

The actual posting period of the TIP Income Distribution is the fiscal month following the distribution period.
