TASA 2008 Conference Organising Committee Meeting #5

MINUTES

Attendees: Deb Warr, Tim Marjoribanks, Jodie North (MCM), Alex Hammond (Communications)

Website and Flyer

-Alex Hammond attended the meeting to discuss the design concept and requirements for the overall image, website and brochures.

-Suggestion of montage of City of Melbourne images to convey the different aspects of the city. “Gritty” Communications will provide montage of pictures/design for committee comment to be used on flyer and website

-Flyer options to be a postcard or A4 flyer. Communications to get quotes on the printing costs for final decision.

ACTION: AH

-Copy written by Tim confirmed to be used as copy for flyer

-Website to be set up in time for 2007 Conference.

-Website link to be provided to TASA so it can be placed onto TASA logo. Alex to speak to TASA web designers to arrange this.

-All marketing materials to advertise the TASA website / conference link

-A critical path for the coming year was provided by Jodie to committee

-The key dates for call for papers and registration confirmed as below:

-Venue Management has confirmed the booking of rooms for below

-Room bookings can be trimmed down once program confirmed.

-Discussion of getting a marquee set up in Eco and Commerce court yard for catering and exhibition purposes etc…

ACTION: JN – get quote and options for marquee for discussion.

-Computer/ Internet access to be made available
