2006-2007 Intensive vocal training workshops at the Roy Hart Theatre in France: “Towards the Realisation of a Project”-workshop,

“Singing Feet”- workshop + 25 hours individual voice lessions with Noah Pikes, Marie-Paule Marthe and Derek Rossignol

1993-1997 School for New Dance Development(SNDO) – BA, Diploma of Performing Arts

1995-1996 Exchange student at the Dance Departement of the Helsinki Theater school

1992-1993 Dance studies at the Orivesi pre-university

1988-1991 Student and member of “Annantalo-dance theatre”

1979-1991 Classical music studies (piano) at the music conservatory in Helsinki and at the private music school of Katriina Orbinsky.

Own productions:

2011 Release of the first CD of the band “Cosmopolitan Dogtrot”.

2010 “Koomori Soi”, performance for voice, movement and Koomori- instruments. Premiered in Japan, September 2010

2009 “Serpentime”, a performance combining music and dance. Premiere in Berlin, June 2009

2009 “Cosmopolitan Dogtrot”, founding a music duo with Marco Ponce Kärgel.

2008 “Insight out -hear to see”, a visual-acoustic exhibition project in collaboration with the photographer Joerg Fahlenkamp.

Realised at AIAV (Akiyoshidai International Art Village),Japan, September- October. Produced and supported by AIAV and IFA (Institut for foreign relations, Germany). Presentation in Berlin at the Glashaus e.v. Brotfabrikgalerie in November.

2007 “Niko Niko Maa Maa” a performative concert.

Created during the artist in residence at AIAV. Produced by AIAV.

“Jekku”, an improvised solo for voice. Premiered at the Finnland- Institut(FIND) in Berlin, June 2007.

2006 “Whitedogballads”, a solo for voice and movement, developed during the stay at the Roy Hart Center and with the financial support of the city of Berlin (Senat für Wissenschaft und Kultur)
