- These Terms and Conditions are the Royal Air Forces Association (Trading style - RAF Association) World Book Day free prize draw rules. By entering the draw, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
- This draw is being promoted by and on behalf of The Royal Air Forces Association.
- The draw is free to enter.
- There will be 1 prize winner who will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
- An alternative cash prize cannot be offered.
6. Participants are entered by email address and are entered into the draw when they carry out the survey.
- The draw will take place on Friday 17 February 2017.
- The winner of the prize will be notified by e-mail shortly after the draw.
- The draw can only be entered if the participants have filled in our survey.
10. The RAF Association reserves the right to re-draw the prize if the winner cannot be contacted within one week of the date specified for the draw.
11. The winner of the prize will be selected at random by a computer from all the entries received before midnight on the date specified for the draw.
- By entering the draw, participants acknowledge their consent to take part in publicity and for their name/photo to be published.
13. By entering the draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and that the decision of The RAF Association is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion.
- Under the Gambling Act 2005, this draw is defined as a ‘Free Prize Draw’ and as such does not require a gambling licence.
- No responsibility is accepted for ineligible or fraudulent entries.
- The promoter reserves the right to contact the winner by telephone or e-mail no matter what their opt-in status to ensure the prize is sent to the correct individual.
- All entrants are solely responsible for providing The RAF Association with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and The RAF Association will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. In the event that an entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising The RAF Association of the change.
- A list of the prize winner may be obtained by written request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Emma Reed, The RAF Association, 41 Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT on or after the date specified for the draw.
- The RAF Association is not responsible and accepts no liability for the management, actions, performance and conduct of the business and/or its employees/agents. The RAF Association accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant or the winner resulting from the use of the prize. Nothing shall exclude The RAF Association’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
- Nothing within these terms and conditions shall create or should be construed as creating any form of contract between any entrant and the RAF Association.
- Any complaints relating to the draw should be sent in writing to Emma Reed, The RAF Association, 41 Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation. All complaints will be dealt with in accordance of the Association’s Gambling Complaint procedure. You can obtain a copy of this procedure by contacting the Association.
- The RAF Association is committed to protecting the entrant’s privacy. Data that is collected from the entrant is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Initially the data is used for the purpose of processing Draw chances and informing the winner that they have won a prize.
- Any entrant has the right to access the information held about them. To obtain this information, please contact the RAF Association in writing enclosing the administration fee. The RAF Association reserve the right to charge a £10.00 administration fee for providing this information. The RAF Association is not obliged to comply with a request under The Data Protection Act 1988 unless they are supplied with such information as they may reasonably require in order to satisfy themselves as to the identity of the person making the request and to locate the information which that person seeks.
- The RAF Association retains the right to alter and amend the terms and conditions of the draw without prior notice, but will always publish amendments on its websitewww.rafa.org.ukif it does so.
- The RAF Association reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules.
- Each entrant should retain a copy of these Terms and Conditions for their reference.
- The Laws of Great Britain shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these Terms and Conditions and The RAF Association and all entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- A copy of these terms and conditions are available by applying in writing by supplying a stamped addressed envelope to Emma Reed at The RAF Association, 41 Wembley Road, Leicester, LE3 1UT.
