NORCOM Hires Tracey Croisier as Executive Assistant / Public Information Officer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 24, 2015

Bellevue, WA - NORCOM is proud to welcome Tracey Croisier as the newest addition to their staff. Croisier will take over the duties as Executive Assistant and Public Information Officer and Clerk to the Governing Board, serving as support for NORCOM management team. Croisier also addresses requests for information and is the main point of contact for the news media. Croisier’s predecessor, Heather Wong, left NORCOM to work as a community liaison for the Bellevue Fire Department.

Croisier was accepted into NORCOM’s 911 call receiver academy, but her diverse career path led to NORCOM asking her to join management as the Executive Assistant. Before joining NORCOM, Croisier spent the last ten years editing financial transcripts and freelance writing. Prior to moving to the area, she had worked in New York City on Wall Street. She worked for a wire service covering finance, politics and world news. She also worked in financial broadcast journalism, both with syndicated market updates via NBC radio and also hosting her own radio show in Times Square.

“The public safety industry is undergoing a lot of exciting changes and Tracey’s unique set of skills are a perfect fit for NORCOM,” says Tom Orr, NORCOM’s Executive Director.

Bellevue firefighter and medic Lenny Norris adds “I’ve experienced Tracey’s humor and leadership skills first hand. I am certain her talent and personality will benefit NORCOM, and that all those she works with can look forward to her cheerful, productive presence.”

Operating in downtown Bellevue since 2009, NORCOM provides 911 emergency communications and police dispatch services for Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Kirkland, Medina and Mercer Island. NORCOM also provides fire and medical dispatch for 14 firehouses. With a staff of 62 call receivers, NORCOM provides public safety services to over 886,000 customers over 625 square miles. NORCOM’s call center answers an average of 694 calls per day.
