How are students defined as “Pre-Health”?

Students will be identified based on prior appointments, HPA program participation and continued communication with the Health Professions Advising Office.

What will the Hershfield-Rosenthal Internship Fund cover?

The Hershfield-Rosenthal fund provides support for student participation in off-campus summer opportunities in laboratory research projects at academic centers or non-commercial research institutions in the area of biomedical research.

What will the Rackow & Kaminsky Endowed Achievement Scholarship cover?

The Eric C. Rackow, MD & and Sari Kaminsky, MD Endowed Achievement Scholarship is designed for pre-health students to receive funds to support research projects, community or service projects, internships, or to defray educational expenses. These experiences can be either on campus (within research) or off campus in an experience that a student submits for consideration. Students should provide thoughtful, well researched applications on how the particular experience will allow them to further explore their chosen Healthcare Profession.

No. Funding is competitive and not guaranteed.
