Staff and Students, October is breast cancer awareness month. Did you know that breast cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death for women, or that it is the most common form of cancer diagnosed in women? Help Wasilla High show its support for finding a cure by wearing pink on Wednesdays this month.
Next Wednesday, to support our local breast cancer charities, Student Government is sponsoring a hat day. Donate $1 or more and get a wristband that allows you to wear a hat during school hours. Wristbands will be sold on Monday and Tuesday during both lunches in the commons. Hats must be school appropriate and you must have a wristband to wear a hat.
Come support your warrior cheerleaders this Saturday at Bartlett High School, it’s a red out!
Guess how many pieces are in the jars! The closest guesser gets all the candy on Halloween! Guess during your lunch in the commons. It’s $0.50 per guess. Support Wasilla AFJROTC!
Juniors and Seniors are invited to meet with the Northern Arizona University on Friday, October 21st during 5th period. Please stop by the counseling office to sign up and get a pass for the meeting.
Senior pictures are due to Ms. Showman by Friday, November 18. If you need a Chieftain Staff member to take your photo contact Ms. Showman in room 218.
