Staff wellness ideas for this year

-What do we, as a committee, want to implement for the 2015-2016 SY?

-Sam Nelson presented on Yoga Mondays: Constructive movement/Chair Yoga. 2 sessions: 3:30-4:00 and 4:00-4:30. In Mary Hanson’s room at the MS. Start as soon as possible. Have incentives? Put out in an email this week. Reminder in Cardinal Essentials. Start October 19th. Create a Google Form for sign up.

-Walking club/Mileage club for students and staff: Schools do a challenge within schools

-Lap swim: Need a certified life guard if we know anyone (18+ years old)

-Chair Yoga

Staff Challenge

-Do we keep it the same as last year? 1,000 minute challenge? The input from staff was very easy with Google Docs.

-Keep same? Extend 2 weeks? Add more of a challenge or keep the same? Consider this at next meeting.

Budget

-Update from Liz

-Just under $50,000. Everything is up a little from LY.

-Could add more to Biometrics screenings: Blood pressure? Vitamin D check?
