WALK – A – THON

FUNDRAISER

100% of the proceeds of this walkathon go directly to your children.

WHEN: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 2014

WHERE: BLOOMINGDALE SCHOOLS

SRD SCHOOL @ 8:30AMMBD SCHOOL @ 10:30AMWTB SCHOOL @ 2:30PM

Our children will be walking and dancing outside each school while listening to their favorite songs played by a DJ. Water will be available during the walk and ice pops will be served at the end. Walkers are encouraged to wear comfortable sneakers and dress appropriately for the outdoors.

As with all PTA events, parents and friends are encouraged to join us and enjoy the walk.

Your generous support of this, our only Fall PTA fundraiser, is greatly appreciated and with your participation this year we can continue to do the most for our children. Our PTA applies funding to many wonderful school assemblies and activities provided for our children throughout the year as well as resources for our schools.

Your student’s pledge envelope and prize listing is attached. We are asking that parents help their children solicit pledges from family and friends, neighbors and work associates. Please no door-to-door solicitations.

PLEASE COLLECT ALL PLEDGES (CASH OR CHECKS MADE PAYABLE TO BLOOMINGDALE PTA) AT THE TIME OF SOLICITATION ANDRETURN YOUR PLEDGE ENVELOPE BY WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 15, 2014 TO YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER OR ONE OF THE SCHOOL MAIN OFFICES.
