The Allium group is very proud that it is able to bring to you the first edition of the Allium Catalogue of Products. For the last 8 years we have worked very hard to bring to the market, not only the most innovative products, but products that are of the highest quality, and the most reasonable of prices. Our philosophy is based on the credo that our desire is to offer the medical community the next generation of stents based on our proprietary technological platform, which will enable the physicians to offer more effective stent solutions for enhancing patients' quality of life. This quest to enhance the patients quality of life has brought us to the realization that the stents that we offer, must not only be of the highest efficacy and medical quality, but must be comfortable for the patient in order that they may lead a good and contented life style.

Founded in2001, Allium Ltd.,is a privately owned company initiated and led by Professor (Em.) Daniel Yachia, an acknowledged urologist and international authority on Urinary System Stenting.Allium hasdeveloped a multi-patented technology platform forcreating site-specific stent solutions. Since inception, Allium has focused primarily on researching, developing, and testing a variety of stents and stent delivery systems with applications in the urinary, gastro-intestinal and respiratory tract for use in malignant and benign obstructions. Some of Allium's projects were partly funded by the Office of the Chief Scientist at Israel's Ministry of Trade and Industry, which supports promising new technologies. Allium has already proven its proprietary technology by developing site-specific, large caliber, anatomically and functionally compatible and easily removablestents with applications in the urinary and gastro-intestinal tract, which have been subjected to rigorous laboratory and animal tests and clinical feasibility studies with successful outcomes.

“ALLIUM Endoscopic Biliary Stent” (BIS)

Allium's BIS stent is to be inserted into the Common Bile Duct to allow free flow of bile from the gall bladder and liver to the duodenum by supporting the obstructed area of the bile duct lumen, keep it open and prevent its re-stenosis. Allium’s BIS stent is intended for endoscopic retrograde insertion into the common bile duct of patients diagnosed with malignant obstruction of the common bile duct in order to drain the occluded biliary ducts .It is intended to remain in place up to 1 year.

Allium's BIS stent comes in a configuration to best fit the anatomy of the segment of the bile duct where it will be deployed. It has a tubular shape body with high radial force to keep open the stenosed segment and low radial force ends for reducing the friction between the ends of the stent and healthy tissue causing the development of reactive proliferative tissue development. The BIS stent has a metal structure with self-radial-expanding design. The caliber of the stent when fully opened is 8 or 10mm in diameter and is covered with a thin layer of polymeric material which is easy to remove. Once inserted and positioned into the occluded common bile duct, it is released from its specially designed 10 Fr delivery device.

Allium Trans-hepatic Biliary Stent:

Allium's Trans-hepatic Biliary Stent is to be inserted into the Common Bile Duct (CBD) to allow free flow of bile from the gall bladder and liver to the duodenum by supporting the obstructed area of the bile duct lumen, keeping it open, and preventing its re-stenosis.

Allium’s Trans-hepatic Biliary Stent device is intended for transhepatic, percutaneous, antegrade insertion into the CBD of patients diagnosed with an obstruction caused by malignancies. The stent will drain the occluded biliary duct and ensure its patency. It is intended to remain in place for up to 1 year. ALLIUM Trans-hepatic Biliary Stent comes in a configuration to best fit the anatomy of the segment of the bile duct where it will be deployed: A tubular shaped stent with a high radial force segment to dilate the stenosed segment and low radial force end segments to prevent or minimize reactive, proliferative, mucosal tissue development into the stent ends.

“ALLIUM Ureteral Stent” (URS)

ALLIUM Ureteral Stent is intended to be inserted into the lower ureter to allow free flow of urine from the kidney to the bladder by supporting the obstructed area of the ureteral lumen, keep it open and prevent its re-obstruction

The ALLIUM Ureteral Stent is intended for endoscopic (retrograde), percutaneous (antegrade) insertion or combined antegrade / retrograde insertion (under cystoscopic and fluoroscopic guidance) into the ureter of patients diagnosed with chronic ureteral obstruction caused by benign or malignant causes. It is intended to remain in the ureter up to 1 year.

Bulbar Urethral Stent (BUS)

Allium Urethral Stents are intended for use temporarily in male Bladder Outlet Obstruction to de-obstruct or tutor the urethral passage open and allow the patient to pass urine spontaneously and on demand. Allium Bulbar Urethral Stent (BUS) has a round body to tutor the bulbar urethra after being dilated. Since the caliber of the stent is larger than the penile urethra, this stent does not need to have an anchor.

The BUS is a temporary device intended for transurethral insertion into the Proximal Anterior Urethra diagnosed with recurrent bulbar urethral stricture. It is a single- use device intended to remain in the urethra up to 1 year, to tutor the opened occluded urethral passage and allow spontaneous urination. The BUS once inserted into the bulbar urethra with the aid of its endoscopic delivery tool, is released to allow its self-expansion.

Allium Triangular Prostatic Urethral Stent (TPS)

Allium Urethral Stents are intended for use temporarily in male Bladder Outlet Obstruction to de-obstruct or tutor the urethral passage open and allow the patient to pass urine spontaneously and on demand. Allium Triangular Prostatic Urethral Stent (TPS) has a triangular cross section body to fit the prostatic urethral lumen occluded by enlarged prostate lobes. This stent has a bulbar anchoring segment for preventing migration.

The TPS is a temporary device intended for transurethral insertion into the male urethra diagnosed with Bladder Outlet Obstruction (BOO), caused by an enlarged prostate gland (benign or malignant). It is a single use device intended to remain in the urethra up to 1 year, to open the occluded urethral passage and allow spontaneous urination. The stent is comprised of a coiled super-elastic structure covered with a co-polymer. Once inserted into the urethra with the aid of its special inserter, the stent is released to allow its self-expansion.

Allium Round Posterior Urethral Stent (RPS)

Allium Urethral Stents are intended for use temporarily in male Bladder Outlet Obstruction to de-obstruct or tutor the urethral passage open and allow the patient to pass urine spontaneously and on demand. Allium Round Posterior Urethral Stent (RPS) has a round body to tutor the posterior urethral wall and the bladder neck after being dilated. The RPS has a bulbar anchoring segment for preventing migration. It is inserted under fluoroscopic guidance.

The RPS is a temporary device intended for transurethral insertion into the male posterior urethra diagnosed with Bladder Outlet Obstruction (BOO) caused by stenotic posterior urethra, stenotic bladder-neck caused by urethro-vesical or urethro-neovesical anastomotic stenosis. It is a single use device intended to remain in the urethra up to 1 year, to open the occluded passage and allow spontaneous urination. The stent is comprised of a coiled super-elastic structure covered with a co-polymer. Once inserted into the urethra with the aid of its special deployment tool, the stent is released to allow its self-expansion.
