QuickConnect Overview & Registration Form

On Tuesday, June 25, jurisdictional representatives and qualified industry participants will have the opportunity to participate in QuickConnect. During QuickConnect, jurisdictional representatives will be seated around the room and industry representatives will have the opportunity to spend approximately six and a half (6 ½) minutes with each assigned jurisdiction to discuss products and services, projects, etc.

Here’s how it works . . .

  1. Jurisdictional representatives will be divided by driver and vehicle expertise. In some cases, a single individual will participate and may represent drivers, vehicles or both. More than one representative from both a jurisdiction and from industry can participate in each connection.
  2. Industry participation is limited to exhibiting and qualified sponsoring organizations. Each company can sign up for one (1) connection per jurisdiction. Exceptions will be made for companies with distinctly separate driver and vehicle related divisions.
  3. To qualify for participation, sponsors must provide at least $2,000 in sponsorship support.
  4. Connections will be approximately six and a half (6 ½) minutes in length.
  5. Participants will be given a one (1) minute warning, followed by a “time is up” announcement. Industry participants will then move on to their next connection.
  6. Industry participants must sign-up for connections prior to the workshop, no later than June 12, 2013.
  7. Participants will be provided with a “connect card” at on-site registration showing who they’re connecting with and when.
  8. If a jurisdiction is engaged in a procurement which prohibits discussion with industry about a particular program, the connection should start with rules as to any topic that may be off limits and those rules should be followed.

Please complete the QuickConnect registration form, and return it to Sheila Prior by email () or by fax at 480-393-8988 no later than June 12, 2013.
