The objective of the project is creating an international cultural Network between public administrations, cultural institutions and enterprises acting in the field of live show production and promotion on both sides of the Adriatic Sea. The project aims towards the creation of a common cultural artistic space through the exchange of experiences, competence and innovative theatre and artistic work practices, strenghtening the relationship between training opportunities and the work market in the live show sector, improving the quality of the services in the field of artistic and cultural activities, with a special attention to the new technologies.
The activities realized, or still in progress, can be resumed as follows:
- Development of the cultural cooperation between Eastern Adriatic Countries and Italian Adriatic Regions:
1) soft infrastructuring of places for the artistic creation;
2) previous study- research activity, in the form of study visits by directors, writers, experts in cultural activities and a dossier aimed to draw an organic map of places, institutions and enterprises which effectively realize production, promotion and management of cultural services in all the involved areas. Four reportages have been published at the moment, in a series called “Landscapes and Cultures”: “Where the shotguns no longer play” by Livio Romano (writer, journalist), about Bosnia and Herzegovina; “Pictures from Montenegro” by Simona Gonella (theatre director); “Croatia- Journal” by Fabio Sanvitale (actor, journalist); “Welcome to Albania” by Loredana De Vitis (journalist). Two more reportages will be published soon, about Serbia and about the Italian involved regions (Puglia and Abruzzo).
- Improvement of the human resources: 4 artistic workshops (in Smederevo, Pescara, Gallipoli and Nardò) and 3 workshops about artistic and cultural administration (Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina), marketing, management and quality systems (L’Aquila, Abruzzo Region) have been realized since June to December 2005, reserved to young people and to employee of the involved institutions and public administrations. The workshops have represented an important training for young actors and young people looking for a job in the field of artistic and cultural management. The best 17 participants to the workshops from all the involved countries, have been selected for a 10 months scholarship to be used as a training period inside the involved private and public institutions and theatre enterprises.
A dossier about the modalities to introduce a quality system in the cultural management is one of the activities to be realized.
A final sensitization seminar is programmed, to take place in Rijeka next July with the participation of actors, directors, journalists, critics and public administrators from both sides of the Adriatic Sea.
