SIZE

  1. NO need to put “size” or “wide width” on the Heel, it will be put on Counter, Strap or Out-sole.
  2. Place a Short Line under size: 6 or 9.
  3. Molded into each Out-sole (Circle diameter 13mm for Men/Young Men/Women,10mm for Youth/Infant/Children), or place Size Sticker on Inside of the Heel Wedge for Ribbed out-sole. Add "W" for Wide Width/"N" for Narrow Width.
  4. Print Size on Non-Molded Out-sole.
  5. For Wide Width: "+W" after Size and "Wide Width" wording below Size / For Narrow Width: "+N" after Size and "Narrow Width" wording below Size -- To be printed on Counter, Strap or Out-sole.
  6. Size "+W" or "+N" on Boxes.
  7. Orders with NST after 1/21/00 should use clear size stickers. (12/22/99 special agent mailing)
  8. There will no longer be an orange “W” sticker for wide width. The “W” will be on the same sticker as the size. (12/22/99 special agent mailing)
  9. There will not be a line under the 6 and 9 on the clear stickers. The size 6 and 9 stickers are the same stickerbut need to be place on the box correctly.(use PCL to check shoe size) (12/22/99 special agent mailing)

PRICE TICKET

Box Ticket: Put on Left Lower corner of one Box End (as sketch on PSS Manual page 7-11)

BOX

1. One End Print: Left Side -- SHOE SKETCH(Toe facing Right)/ PRICE TICKET

Right Side -- SIZE STICKER(Color by Size)/ LOT#/COLOR/SHOE STYLE NAME.

*** Shoebox process control label (PCL): 4-3/4” x 1-1/8” // Place flush to bottom of box // Place tic marks on top and bottom of PCL on left shoebox corner.

*** Size sticker: 3/4” x 1” // Always place on right hand side of box // Center sticker between bottom of box lid and the box bottom.

*** Lot # : 22pt Helvetica UPPERCASE (Caps) // ink color (Specified on PO)

*** Description: Style name and color // 18pt Helvetica UPPERCASE (Caps) // ink color (Specified on PO)

*** For Tall Shaft Boot: LOT#/SHOE SKETCH/COLOR/SHOE DESCRIPTION to be printed on Left side of one Long End of Boot box (the same long side of box ticket). ** All Information, Shoe Sketch & Size of Letters should be all the same as these information on the Short End. (For Customer‘s SPECIFIED STYLE#)

2. Colored Adhesive SIZE STICKER to be placed on the Front Right side of the Box (Center Sticker between of box Lid and the Box Bottom)

3. For Wide Width patterns: “WIDE” Label to be put above Size Sticker. (Customer supply)

4. Bottom print: Box Size[PSS specified internal dimension in “cm” with 1/8"(3.18mm)type)/ Country of Origin (3.2mm Height)

5. All AIR orders: DO NOT put a Red Round Label above LOT# on each box.

6. Must use Glued & Folded Construction, NOT allowed Stapled Boxes, Stapled Lids, or Perforated Box Tops.

7. “PLANET SAVE IT” BOX - Must be minimum 600 grams per square meter board weight. Caliper is 0.032 inches or 0.810 mm plus or minus 5%.

8. Buyer‘s goal was to limit the number of boxes that exceeded 12 cm in height and 20 cm in width, allowing them to maximize box exposure in the stores.

  2. The old size stickers (multiple colors; one for each size) should not be used on the new boxes. New clear

Stickers will be provided which are to be applied in the upper right- hand corner of the Product Information

Badge.

PACKING

** Different type of shoe has different Stuffing Option (as QA Manual pages 8-9B)

PARADE QA DEPARTMENT WILL NOT SPECIFY STUFFING CODE REQUIREMENTS FOR FACTORIES TO

FOLLOW. THE FACTORIES WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMING THE CORRECT STUFFING

REQIREMENT FOR THEIR PRODUCT. FACTORIES MUST ENSURE THE STUFFING REQUIREMENTS

B. Shoes Boxes: Packing the shoes into the shoe box includes:

1. Tissue wrap, toe stuffing, cardboard cones, boot shaft form, or any other object used to help a shoe maintain its shape and finish.

2. Shoe styles that do Not require stuffing are: Leather Bals, Jelly Shoes, Work Boots.

3. If the shoes will not lose its shape or become damaged during Transportation, stuffing is Not required.

4. If Multiple pieces of Tissue are used in the Toe, they should be Rolled together so they are Removable in 1 piece.

5. Bows, Tassels and Kilties should be Wrapped in "PAPER" only.

6. Nubuck/Suede/Fabric/Patent Shoes must have TISSUE WRAP.

7. Shoes with a High Vamp must have Stuffing or a Cone to the Top of the Vamp.

8. Boots with a Shaft above the Ankle must have a Shaft Form.

9. Shoes should be placed in the box with the right shoe (toe down), in the right side of the box, and the left shoe (toe up), in left side of box. Shoes are packed face to face.

10. WHITE FABRIC shoes should be Individual POLYBAGGED.

11. Rubber bands should NOT be used to hold lids on.

12. LACED SHOES: Shoes should be LACED using the First 3 Eyelets, (As Sketch on QA Manual Page 8-7)

** It is easy for a customer to Try On .

** It does not need to be completely unlaced for a customer to properly lace it.

** Laces should Not be tied together.

13. Shoe Wrappings should not tear when pulled out. Plastic Wrap must Not be used in the Orient during the RAINY Season to Reduce Condensation.

14. Staples should NOT be used in packing material.

15. Sling Back Straps should NOT be Rubber Banded or Banded together.

C. POLYBAGS

1. Polybags should Only be used with footwear containing uppers made from NUBUCK LEATHER, VELVET, and KID SUEDE(羊反毛皮); and then only with prior approval from the buyer.

2. Polybags should be vented with Air Holes and remain Opened at each End in order to keep moisture from condensing inside the bag and to reduce the likelihood of mold formation on the shoe.

D. NO Silica Gel needed.

CARTON

1. Alpha Cases: 2 TIERS-Lids on each Tier must face in Opposite Direction. Six Packs must be packed in 1 Tier. The Ticketed End of the shoe box must be exposed when the case top is opened.

2. Solid Cases: Adult-SINGLE TIER-All LIDS are facing the Same Direction. Exception: Child-2 TIERS (IF Boxes Length are Smaller than 8"/20.3cm)

3. Measurement: LENGTH WIDTH DEPTH WEIGHT

1-TIER: Minimum: 10"(25.4cm) x 8"(20.3cm) x 8"(20.3cm) / 5 LBS (2.3kgs)

Maximum: 29"(73.7cm) x 25"(63.5cm) x 20"(50.8cm) / 45 LBS (20.5kgs)

2-TIER:Minimum: 7"(17.8cm) x 7"(17.8cm) x 10"(25.4cm) / 5 LBS (2.3kgs)

Maximum: 24-1/4"(61.6cm)x19"(48.3cm)x 38"(96.5cm) / 45 LBS( 20.5kgs)

4. Use Tape to seal cases as shown on PSS QA Manual - Sketch of page 9-3.

5. Do NOT use: (1) Straps (2) Glue (3) Metal or Nylon Bands (4) Staples for Case Tops (5) Non-Transparent Tape Over Case Labels (6) Any Tape Over or Within 2cm of Bar Codes.

6. Carton Dimension Allowance is 1.5%, if it is over 1.5%, factory will be charged back as following policy, Effective with NST Dates of July 1, 1998.

CASE LABEL

1. 2 pieces in 19cmx17.5cm (Customer supply). Beginning 04/01/98, Customer will offer CASE LABEL MASTER for factory to print case labels.

2. 2-Tier Case: To be put on Right Upper Corner & Top of one Main Mark.(Apply the labels 4cm from the Right Edge of the carton to keep Sealing Tape from Touching the Barcode)

1-Tier Case: To be put on Right Upper Corner & Top of One Side Mark.

2. A BLACK BAND (2-1/4“) around the top of all 4 sides, ”PARADE” (2“) in the Center of the

band on each side of the carton.

3. The “UP” Arrows must be in the Same Direction as the Corrugated Flute.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION

1. Shoe bottom: Put "Brand Logo" for all genders & put "Skid Resistant“ for Children‘s Molded Out-sole.

2. Heel Seat: NO Size & Width needed to be printed, ONLY the Logo will go on the Heel.

3. Lace-In Tag: For "APMA" or "STEEL TOE" shoes -- Depends on buyer‘s instruction.

4. Pegable Shoes (Include, but Not Limited to, Water Sock and Slippers)

A. Shoe boxed are not used.

B. All shoes must be attached with a Swift Attach.

C. Each pair placed in Non-Sealed Transparent (Poly) Plastic Bags.

D. Do NOT Tie or Seal Bag shut, just FOLD OVER to shut.

E. Each bag is clearly marked or labeled in 1/4" (0.65cm) type with:

F. The PCL ticket does not need to be stuck to the Plastic Bag.

G. Each Plastic Wrapped pair should be Egg Crated in a case for shipping.

5. Weather Boot:

A. Shoe boxes are not used, each pair of Boots must be placed in a Non-Sealed Transparent (Poly) Plastic Bag.

B. Boots must be attached with a LOOP of white covered Elastic String (1.15mm diameter) of 16"(42cm) long.

C. Each pair of boots must have a Size Tag displaying the correct size of the boots. Size Tag must hang on the Elastic String. Tag Specifications: (1) Thickness: 10 pt. (0.010 Caliper) Bright White, Styrene Plastic, in 2.5cm high X 2.5cm wide, Rounded Corners. (2) Printing in Pantone Black U, word "SIZE" should be 0.5cm high and "NUMBERS" should be 0.8cm high.

D. The Elastic Loop should pass through the Product Code Tag sewn into the Inside Seam (or Upper Seam) of each boot.

E. Plastic Internal sheet Wrapping Preferred over Paper.

F. The PCL ticket does not need to be stuck to the Plastic Bag.

G. For Musical packed cases, do NOT Tie or Seal bag Shut, just fold over to shut. For Solid size cases, Tie shut or Tape Seal.

H. For Solid size cases, each bag should be clearly marked or labeled in 1/4"(0.65cm) type with:

6. From 02/15 to 09/15, it is necessary to SPRAY the Uppers for Mold Prevention EXCEPT White or Light colored PVC, PU, or CANVAS.

7. Print our “FACTORY#” on the Insole Board for all the shoes.
