Coach Education Programme 2009 – 2010

Welcome to Cumbria Cricket Board’s Coach Education programme for 2009 –2010!!

Please refer to the ‘At-a-Glance’ Coach Education Framework which gives details of the Coach Education courses that have been organised for the period September 2009 to April 2010.

Quality coaching is an essential aspect of fulfilling our vision of ‘Opening pathways to cricket, from coast to fell, Bay to Borders’.

Whether you are just considering beginning your journey on a coaching pathway or are already involved in coaching youngsters we believe this programme has something to offer you.

In 2009 – 2010 we are offering a variety of different courses aimed at providing coach education to a range of differing needs.

The costs of these courses reflect the fact that Cumbria Cricket Board subsidises them significantly in order to make them accessible to as many people as possible. Some people may be able to apply for further subsidies depending on their circumstances. Candidates successfully undertaking UKCC1, UKCC2 or Conversion Courses may be eligible for a subsidy from Get Qualified. Please visit www.cumbria.ac.uk/getqualified for further details.

If you want to find out more about these Coach Education courses you can access further details on the ECB website.....www.ecb.co.uk/development/coach-education or contact Cumbria Cricket Board office on 015395 60066 (between 9.00am – 12.00noon) or .

If you want to apply for any of these courses please complete an application form by the required deadlines as indicated on the ‘At-a-glance’ Coach Education Framework.

If you cannot find a course suited to your requirements either because of location or dates please complete our Coach Education Survey in order that we can plan more effectively for people’s needs across Cumbria in the coming months. We will then put your details on our contact list for future courses.

We hope this helps you on your coaching pathway.

Yours,

Andy Blackman - CEO Cumbria Cricket Board.
