Eng 12 Final Book Report
You’ve enjoyed SSR, now it’s time to share…
1)Oral Presentation – Give the class some brief information about your book. Share with us things such as who might like the book, your favorite parts, and an evaluation as a whole.
2)Produce Something – If you’re interested in visual art, paint a picture depicting a scene from the book. If you’re interested in dance, create an interpretive dance. If you’re interested in graphic design, design a different book cover. Think about ways that you can be creative and produce something that is challenging, unique and rewarding. Enjoy!
3)Connection to Self – Whatever you produce must include some connection to yourself and something you would like to share with the class. The way you accomplish this task will be different for every student as it will depend on the project you produce. Some ideas might be to include a letter from you to a character in the novel sharing your thoughts, insights and dreams as part of a correspondence, or produce an undiscovered chapter of the book with yourself as a character. Whatever you decide, the connection should be appropriate to the text and show some insight into your life that we may not know.
This project will be presented on the 2nd and 3rd week
of Janurary. You must approve your project with me by 12/11/09.
