Modeling is used at the beginning of the year to show appropriate sitting, voice levels, and use of respectful language/good manners. Cafeteria Monitors review rules with students on a regular basis. Monitors record color each day to track classes. Classroom teachers are then able to determine appropriate reward/consequence.

Students will watch the NEE staff created hallway rules video presentation on Morning Announcements every week for the first 3 – 4 weeks of school. Teachers will share expectations with classes and provide reading materials for students to use in the hallways. Role-playing activities will be used by hallway monitors and Safety Patrols the first week of school and when necessary.
