Student Registration
Dear ITT Student:
ITT Technical Institute usesMyEconLab, an online companion to your textbook, for this course. Your text comes with a Student Access Card that looks like this:
To access your MyEconLab course, complete this one-time registration and enrollment process.
To register:
STEP 1: Go to
STEP 2: Click on your textbook’s author: For GE273, choose ‘Miller’ as the author and ‘Economics Today: The Micro View 13e’ for the title. For GE 274, choose ‘Miller’ and the author and ‘Economics Today: The Macro View 13e’ for the title.
STEP 3: Choose the orange access kit and the option “No” your instructor has NOT provided a course ID. Click Proceed to Registration.
STEP 4: On the page that appears, follow the on-screen instructions to enter your student access code(found below the tear-off strip of your student access kit) and your zip code and country.
STEP 5: Provide your contact information and create a login name and password. Be sure to save this login in & password!
*If you do not have a student access code, you can purchase online access to MyEconLab using a credit card on this website.
After you have registered, you will be ready to log in to MyEconLab.
To log in and begin using MyEconLab:
- Go to and click the Log In button for students.
- Enter the login name and password you created during registration.
- The first time you log in, there will be a default book listed as the book you are using. You will need to click the ‘Enroll in a New Course’ button at the bottom of the screen. This will bring you to a page that asks you to choose if you are enrolling in an instructor’s course or choosing a book to study in. Choose the option to study in a book (unless your instructor tells you otherwise). This will bring up a drop-down menu of titles. Select the textbook for your course:For GE273, choose ‘Miller ‘Economics Today: The Micro View 13e’. For GE 274, choose ‘Miller Economics Today: The Macro View 13e’.
- If your instructor has created a course for you to enroll in, choose ‘ITT Tech’as the school, ‘GE273’ or ‘GE274’as the instructor, and the name of the instructor’s course (which your instructor will give you) in the Course drop-down menu. This will enroll you in your instructor’s course so that you can complete any assigned homework or quizzes.
- Next, you will need to run the Installation Wizard to install the MyEconLab player and necessary plug-ins. You must have administrative rights on your computer to run these installations.
Browser Recommendations:
Internet Explorer is the supported browser for MyEconLab. America Online users should use IEas their browser window (connect to the Internet with AOL, then minimize the AOL browser window and open Internet Explorer).
