Experience an Unforgettable Walk Across the Sands with the Queen’s Guide Cedric Robinson SATURDAY 8th AUGUST 2015
START TIME 1200 noon (allow 4 hours – all flat!)
We have been very fortunate in being offered a Walk Across the Sands with Cedric Robinson who is the Queen’s Guide to the Sands. Cedric has been leading walkers safely across the Bay since 1963 and has been a lifelong fisherman. He knows the ever-changing sands like the back of his hand.
For Registration we ask for £10 per adult, £5 per child (6-16) (well behaved dogs welcome.) Please note this is non – returnable in the event of cancellation due to unsuitable weather or your non attendance. Payment may be made by cheque or on-line, via our website but please identify on-line payments as “Walk 2015”
Registration is essential and I enclose a Registration Form which should be returned either by post or email as soon as possible.
Also attached is a sponsorship form. Sponsorship is not essential but if you can encourage people to sponsor you it would be a tremendous help to us especially when it is gift aided. See details on the Sponsorship form. Please identify on-line payments as “Walk 2015” Upon receipt of your registration form and payment you will be sent your Acceptance/ticket and more details about the walk.
Please help us to raise funds for ‘’BOXES OF HOPE -CUMBRIA ‘’ a project sending gift filled Christmas shoeboxes to children in Eastern Europe . We have been sending shoeboxes to Eastern Europe for 10 years and last year sent over 10,000 gift filled boxes to the deprived children of rural Romania.
So do come along and join us and encourage as many friends and family as possible to walk with you on this wonderful walk or to sponsor your effort!
