•You must already have a regular AGS application for Continuing Membership on file for this semester in order to submit this form.

Eligibility:

•Completion of 60 semester units during the current semester in degree-appropriate college courses, of which at least 54 units are for a grade (not as CR/No Credit)

•At least half (30) of these semester units completed at the Community College level

•Current registration as a Continuing Member

•Additionally, you must meet one of the following criteria:

1. If you are in your 2nd semester of AGS membership, you complete the semester with a cum. 3.50 GPA or higher in all units used in meeting the minimum 60 unit requirement.

2. If you are in your 3rd semester of AGS membership or more, you complete the semester with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 in all units used toward the 60 unit requirement.

Any courses completed two or more years prior to submission of this application for Permanent Membership, whether at a community college or other institution, shall not be used to disqualify any person from becoming a Permanent Member, provided that these units also not be used to meet the minimum requirement of 60 semester units.

Final Permanent Application Checklist

  • Is currently a Continuing Member
  • At the end of the semester, will:
  • Complete at least 60 units
  • Maintain at least 3.50 GPA or if this is your third semester in AGS at least a 3.25 GPA.
  • Complete all service hours and meeting requirements in order to remain in good standing.
  • Completed and filled out Permanent Application Form
  • Please attach your most recent unofficial PCC transcript to this application
  • Application form, transcripts, checklist, and any other papers necessary must be enclosed in a manila envelope and date-stamped on the seal.
  • Lastly, please submit your finished, enclosed application at our Tuesday Planning Meetings (C420), Thursday General Meetings (Forum), or in the AGS mailbox (CC105).
  • IMPORTANT: If you will be submitting your application to the Recording Secretary, Emilee Kappitz, the last day to do so is Friday, April 14that the general meeting. All other applications must be submitted NO LATER THAN4:00 pmonFriday, April 14thto the AGS Mailbox located in the OSA office of the CC building.
