Cross Country Parents,
It takes numerous volunteers to successfully run a cross-country season, and we need your help! There are plenty of volunteer opportunities to choose from below so everyone PLEASE help in some way. Please select as many as you can. Thanks in advance for volunteering! Please submit this paper with your spots chosen, your phone number, and an email address to Coach Deegan (through your son or daughter at practice) or complete on line (from the team website) and attach it to an email.
Thanks for helping to make this Cross Country season a success!
Coach Deegan
______PR Kick Off Relays______
If we get a Coordinator, we will be running a small concessions stand – drinks, candy (no meal type stuff). The Coordinator would need to be sure the following was done: purchasing, delivering, selling, cleaning up, and returning items to school. The races are scheduled as 4:00 Girls Varsity, 5:30 Boys Varsity, 6:40 9th grade girls, 7:00 9th grade boys, 715 Open race (non varsity or freshman)
If we don’t run a concession stand, we will assist with the parking lot responsibilities!

All the WHS teams benefit from concession sales and each team is responsible for providing volunteers during one of the home football games. We'll need to provide lots of volunteers! It's fun, you'll get to know other parents, and you’ll get into the game free.

Pot Luck Pasta Dinner Hosts
Every year since the school opened the kids have enjoyed getting together for these dinners before a meet. The host provides the house, paper plates, eating utensils, cups, and ice for drinks and the kids bring the food. The dinners usually start about 6:00pm. Each host decides their ending time. Dates to host are usually done on a first come first served basis by the coordinator. The dividing up of who brings what is assigned by the coordinator and is rotated week to week. The food/drink assignments are given out by Wednesday to allow time for shopping and preparing.

Snacks for Meets
This requires – purchasing your choice of snacks (hopefully varied from meet to meet and somewhat healthy, they bought them from Costco in the past), divide them into individual bags (lunch or baggies), put in box, deliver to school (to go on bus with us) or deliver to the meet and repeat for each meet. If you are interested in this job, you will be a FAVORITE with all the kids – they love this!!
