New options have been added to create reports of Attendance Audit Trail data.
Added Audit Trail Summary Report
The Audit Trail Summary Report page allows you to view information from the attendance audit trail table for students in all or selected buildings in your district. You can specify criteria to select the data you want to view, then click Run to generate either a PDF file or an Excel spreadsheet file which you can save to your PC or print out.

Added Student Audit Trail Summary Option
The Student Audit Trail Summary page allows you to view information from the attendance audit trail table for a student. You can specify criteria to select the data you want to view, then click Refresh Values to display any matching attendance data in the lower part of the page. Additionally, you can click Export to Excel to generate an Excel spreadsheet file which you can save to your PC or print out.

Added SIF fields for Attendance
To support the ability to use SIFto report attendance totals for state reporting, fields were added for attendance codes and the Attendance Configuration. The SIFspecifications for attendance include SIFType, which SIFuses as a standard set of codes to identify the type of attendance, and SIFStatus, which SIFusers as a standard set of codes to indicate the excused status for attendance records. This feature includes the following changes:
- Added SIFType and SIFStatus fields to Attendance Codes.
- Added validation tables for SIFType and SIFStatus.
- Added Attendance SIFView field to the Attendance Configuration.

The Attendance tab now includes two additional tables: SIFType and SIFStatus. These tables include Code and Description fields. You must enter the code exactly as it is defined in the SIFSpecifications.

Day totals could be calculated for a single building. Now you can run the calculation for multiple buildings at one time and you can specify the log file name to use.

/ Building field name was changed to Building List. You can select to run for all buildings or selected buildings./ The Task/Report Name field was added so you can define the log file name to use.This field is useful for adding text to the log file name to identify the building and view for which you ran the calculation.
Discipline Features

Added Multiple Race Support for Non Students
Previously you could only enter one race for non-student records in Discipline. You can now define multiple races for a non-student.

/ Added More button for Primary Race field. Click this button to enter multiple races for the non-student.If you select multiple races, the word Multiple displays to indicate the person is identified with multiple races.
Added Multiple Races Pop-up
When you click the More button, the Multiple Races pop-up opens. After selecting races, click Close on the Multiple Races pop-up and then click Save on the Non-Student Detail page.
Note that the Percentage field may not display for your district.
Added Fields to Discipline Validation Tables
Three validation tables were modified for this release.
- Injuries - Added State Code Equiv field.
- Offense Actions - Added SIFCode field.
- Victim Type - Added State Code Equiv field.
The state reporting requirements for your district will determine whether you need to update the validation tables to include values for the new fields.

Added Password Management Options for Home Access Center
A new Password Management tab has been added to the Home Access Center District Configuration page.
- The Encrypt Passwords box has been moved to this tab.
- You can select to set minimum/maximum password length requirements.
- You can select to enforce password complexity (i.e., require passwords to include 3 out of the following: capital letter, lower case letter,
- You can specify how many times a user can enter the wrong username or password before the system locks the user's account.
- You can select whether you want the system to automatically unlock the user's account after a specified period of time or require the user to contact your district to manually unlock the account.
- If a user's account is locked, the date and time the account was locked and an unlock link display to the right of the Last Login Date field on the General tab in the Student Addresses page and the Contact Detail page. You can click the unlock link to manually unlock a user's account in HAC.
- If you have configured the system to automatically unlock accounts and the account lockout period has expired but the user has not yet logged in, a message displays to the right of the Last Login Date field to indicate that the user can now log in to HAC.
- You can require users to change their passwords after a certain number of days have passed; for example, every 60 days.
- Users can now set up challenge questions and answers which they will be required to answer when they click the new Forgot My Username or Password link on the login page in HAC.
- You can specify how many challenge questions users must create and the number of questions the system will display for users to answer.
- Users with HAC logins who have not yet set up challenge questions will be prompted to do so on the My Profile page that displays immediately after they log in to HAC.
- In order to make sure that an unauthorized person does not reset a user’s password, the user must have at least one challenge question before the user can use the Forgot My Username or Password link to reset a password. If a user without challenge questions clicks the Forgot My Username or Password link, the text in the Unsuccessful Login Message field displays. As in previous versions of eSchoolPLUS, the user must contact someone at the district to have the password manually reset on the Student Address or Contact Detail page.
- You can select whether to display a default or custom message for each of the following options:
- After an invalid login attempt, indicating the user entered the wrong username or password or the account is locked.
- After the user clicks the Forgot My Username or Password link on the login page, notifying the user to check for an email from your district.
- In the email sent to users after the user clicks the Forgot My Username or Password link.

Added Options for Email Alerts
The following enhancements have been introduced to the Home Access Center Email Alerts option:
- The menu option and the page have been renamed My Alerts.
- The page now displays all students for a guardian, instead of just the student selected at login.
- Settings have been added for sending alerts on attendance, discipline, interim progress reports, and report cards.
- Pop-up windows are provided for selecting the types of attendance and discipline information for generating alerts.
- The Gradebook option has been renamed Classwork.
- Minimum and maximum assignment averages can be set for triggering alerts on classwork.
- Added ability for guardians and students to subscribe to an alert from the related Home Access Center page. The Attendance, Discipline Incidents, Classwork, Interim Progress Report, and Report Cards pages include fields to select to receive email alerts if the corresponding alert has been selected on the Home Access Center Building Configuration Email Alerts tab.

/ Thepage previously displayed only the student selected after logging in and can now display all students associated with the guardian.
/ Clicking the link displays the Attendance Alerts window. Guardians can select the types of attendance alerts to send by checking the appropriate boxes. If no boxes are selected, the Any option displays. Checking this box selects all attendance issues.
