Front Desk Receptionist ______
Involves: Public relation skills to answer telephone inquires, greet gallery visitors; mailing, stuffing envelopes; Microsoft excel, marketing capabilities, typing skills; bookkeeping, organization; supervision of Gallery Shop. Computer skills are a plus, but not necessary. This position represents our most significant, regular need between both the Art Works and Bottle Works buildings.
Set-Up & Tear-Down Gallery Exhibits ______
Involves: Working within a team of Bottle Works staff, an artist, and other volunteers handling, positioning, measuring and hanging art. Guarantees free admittance to gallery openings and artist talks.
Event Assistance ______
Involves: Arranging event set-up with tables, chairs, and other specifications prior to events; Food preparation and refills, concessions, cooking/baking; Assisting in ticket sales at door; Tear-down after events. Guarantees free admittance to the associated event.
Building Up-Keep ______
Involves: Painting, electrical, and carpentry work; Wall touch-ups prior to and after exhibits; Snow Removal; and other maintenance jobs led by the Facilities Director.
Garden Work Crew ______
Involves: Working within a volunteer crew in weeding, planting, nurturing, watering garden and other indoor/outdoor plants.
Teacher or Teaching Assistant ______
Involves: Directing or assisting a workshop in children’s crafts or adult educational programming. Please indicate interest in a specific workshop topic below. Clearances are required for this position.
