"Tigers Lead with a ROAR"
Message from Mrs. Saunders
In an effort to encourage a healthy lifestyle, Tesoro Tigers are participating in activities all week to celebrate Health Week. We hope everyone enjoys dress up days, freeze dance, Hoop it Up Assemblies, Walk to School Wednesday, and Jump Up to Pump it Up. Thank you to Irene O'Donnell and her team for a fun and healthy week!
Some of our students will be competing in the Tesoro del Valle Toastmasters Competitions on Wednesday. The winners of each category will be representing Tesoro del Valle at the district competitions next month. We are very proud of our contestants and appreciate their hard work writing and memorizing their speeches.
Have a restful spring break. We will see you back on Monday, April 10th.
Please remember that attendance is important to your child's education. Students miss valuable instruction when they are absent or tardy. Encourage your child to wash their hands often to avoid common colds and flu.
Thank you for your support in following traffic rules around our campus. Please remember there is no parking during pick up in the front parking lot and the lot by the lunch area.
Please use the valet line for drop off and pick up. If your child has signed up to participate in the valet or escort program, please remind them to be diligent in honoring their commitment (students should arrive at 7:45 a.m. on their appointed day(s). Please have your children use designated crosswalks at all times. Safety is our number one concern.
We ask that students coming to school (grades 1-6) enter the playground using the front gate. Kindergarten students and parents please enter through the side gate. The gates open at 7:50 a.m.
Students need to be on campus by 8:05 a.m. Students are tardy if they are not in their class line at 8:10 a.m.

If you are parking and walking up:
  • If you are walking your child on to the campus, please use the sidewalks. Do not walk through the parking lot or through the drop-off lane.
  • Please park on the school side of the street. If you park on the opposite side of the street, please cross above the exit driveway. It is unsafe to cross through cars leaving the driveway.
