Dear Prelates Players and Families,
Prior to you completing the Membership Application process on MyNetball and making payment via our TryBooking links, we would like you to note the following important information:
Fees
This year we have had to increase our fees to $250 after holding them at $240 for the past two seasons. The key reasons for the increase are:
- A $5 per player increase in fees to WDNA
- The need to pay for a centralised storage facility. Currently we have all of our equipment stored across a number of Committee members’ houses. This arrangement has become difficult to manage and we want to centralise the storage of all of the Club equipment and have it easily accessible for both training and game days.
We will be taking one of the new storage spaces currently under construction at the WDNA courts. $5 of the Club fee increase will contribute to the cost of the storage space, covering approximately 50% of the $1,000 annual cost. We will need to fundraise the balance of the cost throughout the season.
Important - Game Times
The proposed game times for 2017 are:
- 12’s9.45 am(changed from 11.15 am)
- 13’s1.00 pm(changed from 11.15 am)
- 15’s11.15 am(changed from 1.00 pm)
- 18’s1.00 pm(no change)
- Open2.45 pm & 4.15 pm (no change)
The reason for the change is to find a way to have the 18’s and 15’s playing in different time slots. All Clubs have been challenged with availability of both Coach’s and Umpires when these age groups play in the same time slot so WDNA are trying to find a way to overcome this challenge.
Please note that all game times are subject to change and are dependent on the number of teams playing in each age group.
Uniforms
The cost of a new uniform for 2017 is $95 including both shorts and dress.
If you purchased a new uniform for 2016 and find that players need a new size for this season, we will attempt to coordinate second hand sales for you. Please let us know at trials and bring your current uniform.
We will have uniforms available for sizing at our AGM on Sunday the 12th of February and at trials beginning Tuesday the 21st of February.
Please note full uniform payments are required by Tuesday 28th of February.

Membership and Fees for 2017
Simple Steps for Membership Application and Payment of Fees
- Complete your Membership Application on MyNetball (see instruction details below and attached).
- Go to the TryBooking Fee Payment link and pay your deposit (at a minimum – fees can be paid in full if preferred).
- Go to the TryBooking Uniform Payment link and pay for your Uniform (if you require one).
Membership Application:
Membership Applications can be made on the MyNetball website between Monday the 9th of January and Friday the 10th of February.
You will find attached a separate document that provides helpful instructions on how to complete the Membership Application process on the MyNetball website. To start the application, go to this link:
Please be aware that WDNA categorise players into Junior and Senior by reference to the player’s year of birth (Note: This does not relate to the age bracket that you may play in).
- A Senior player includes anyone born during or before the year 1999
- A Junior player includes anyone born in 2000 or later
If you are having any difficulty with the MyNetball system, we would encourage you to ensure that you prioritise making payment of the fees by the due datesper instructions below. This will provide us with important and critical information regarding the player, enable us to confirm your intent and ensure the player can take the court for trials / grading.
We can assist you with any MyNetball issues separately.
Payments:
Payment can be made via our TryBooking links outlined in the table below.
Please be aware that we will not be accepting any cash payments this year due to the inherent risks in doing so and the potential for error. Having all payments made via TryBooking allows us to easily track the status of both players and payments and reduces our administration workload significantly.
Please note the due dates for each payment type in the table. A minimum of a $60 deposit must be paid prior to the 10th of February in order for players to participate in trials. This will ensure you are covered by insurance as a financial member of the club.
If you have chosen to pay only the deposit by the 10th of February, the balance of full fees, $190, will need to be paid prior to the 10th of March in order for players to be recorded on a team list.
Friday 10th of February / Close date for deposit of $60 or fee payment in fullTryBooking Link:
Tuesday 28th of February / Close date for full Uniform payment $95
TryBooking Link:
Friday 10th of March / Close date for full payment of fees $190 if only deposit has been paid
TryBooking Link:
Once payment has been made, a receipt/ticket will be emailed automatically to you which you must print (or save as a pdf document on your phone as an example) and bring to the first day of grading.
If you are paying for more than one player, please ensure you do one player at a time.
KidSport:
There have been some changes to the KidSport funding program over the past year. We have provided a link below to ensure you have all of the required information:
Important to note is that you can now apply online. This is a very simplified process and we encourage you to apply as early as possible for your 2017 funding so Prelates is paid early in the season.
If you expect that you may be entitled to, or have already had approval for, a KidSport voucher for the player(s), please let us know (email ) as it will affect the amounts payable by you. We will provide you with a particular promotion code to enter at the check-out stage when attending to payment on TryBooking as above.
Your prompt action in making the application and advising us that this has been done is important so that we can track payments with the relevant Council and ensure the player is eligible to be registered with the Club and WDNA.
Thank You
