About the McGrath Foundation

The McGrath Foundation was co-founded by Jane McGrath and her cricketing husband Glenn after Jane’s personal experience with breast cancer at 31. Jane became a passionate believer in the need for breast care nurses and increased breast awareness for all women regardless of age. The McGrath Breast Care Nurse Programme and Curve Lurve are the result of Jane’s legacy.

The McGrath Foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia as well as increasing breast awareness in young women.

The McGrath Foundation’s breast care nurses have helped support over 36,000 families experiencing breast cancer in Australia, providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment. This support is provided free of charge and can be accessed through self-referral.

Sharing your PSD fun with videos

We love to see how much fun everyone is having at their Pink Stumps Day so we’ve put together some tips & tricks for filming with the camera on your phone. These simple touches will ensure a box office worthy video. Don’t forget to share them with us.

Here are some simple guidelines and tips to make your video the best it can be.

  1. Keep it fun!We want to see just how much fun you’re having at your Pink Stumps Day. You might even want to show us some of your fundraising tips & tricks.
  1. Light it up. Make sure your video is filmed with good lighting. You wouldn’t want to hide your faces.
  1. A little bit louder now. Remember to speak up so your voice can be heard nice and clearly.
  1. Good things come in three. Interviews don’t always have to face the camera. Think of having three people involved; the cameraman, the interviewer and the interviewee (it feels less formal that way).
  1. Take your time. If you don’t get it right in the first take, just try again. That’s the beauty of editing! Also, keep your videos short & sweet – 30 seconds works well.
