When living at Wolf Lake in Sullivan County, NY co-spearheaded that community association’s participation in the NYS Citizens Statewide Lake Assessment Program (CSLAP).
In the late 1980’s prior to moving to Greenwich from Monticello, NY, served on Town of Thompson volunteer Conservation Advisory Committee responsible for review and comment on proposed developments for the town. After 5 years, resigned from that committee upon moving here.
For approximately 5 years in 1990’s I volunteered with Save The Sound monitoring Long Island Sound at various locations around Westchester and Fairfield counties.
Since 2000, I have served on the Wolf Lake Board of Directors and been Chairman of Conservation for most of that period. During that time we have revised our building codes, updated our land use policies, and assumed duties for monitoring lake water quality at regular intervals. I did not seek re-election to this board this past July.
Professionally, I am member of the Water Environment Federation-Lower Hudson Valley Chapter for 20 years.
Educational Background: Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology – 1977 from Utica College of Syracuse University. Current employment affords me the opportunity to regularly attend and participate in conferences addressing the best management practices of the water protection industry.
