1 Purpose of this Equipment: To store, secure, and display cartons of cigarettes as a stand-alone unit for sales to the patron.
2 Federal Supply Class: 7125
3 General Operating Specifications:
3.1 Dimensions:
3.1.1 48 inches long / wide, 31 inches deep, and 54 inches high. Dimensions may not vary more than 2 inches.
3.2 Salient Characteristics that shall be provided:
3.2.1 Cabinet:
3.2.1.1 Sheet metal outer cabinet.
3.2.1.2 Fully enclosed.
3.2.1.3 Cabinet top to support a minimum of 200 pounds.
3.2.1.4 4 casters, 2 swivel / locking and 2 rigid.
3.2.1.5 Powder coated finish on all surface areas.
3.2.1.6 Outer back metal panel will be secured to top metal panel for added strength and security.
3.2.2 Doors:
3.2.2.1 Double swinging door design.
3.2.2.2 Door to be a clear, non-tinted .25 (1/4) inch polycarbonate material.
3.2.2.3 Clear window must be secured to metal frame to prevent rattling.
3.2.2.4 Door to be encompassed within a minimum 2 inches wide border consisting of a minimum .5 (1/2) inch thick metal frame.
3.2.2.5 Full height piano hinges on doors.
3.2.2.6 Magnetic catch at the top and bottom of the door frame.
3.2.3 Locking mechanism:
3.2.3.1 Three point locking system, top, bottom and middle.
3.2.3.2 Integrated locking handle centered half way down from top of door. Handle points downward in the locked position.
3.2.3.3 All unit locks to be keyed alike.
3.2.4 Inside locking mechanism has safety cap / cover to prevent personal injury.
3.2.5 Shelves:
3.2.6 Base shelf plus 2 adjustable upper shelves.
3.2.7 A maximum of 26 inches deep with a minimum space of 2 inches between shelf and door to accommodate electronic shelf labels (ESL’s).
3.2.8 Accommodates 2 cartons deep and able to display 4 half-cases of cigarettes, in 2 across and 2 deep.
3.2.9 Each shelf shall be equipped with price tags molding to accommodate standard Universal Product Code (UPC) tags and / or ESL’s.
3.3 Industry Standards / Requirement(s):
3.3.1 Warranty period shall be for (1) year from date of delivery / installation against defective material and workmanship and shall include parts, service and labor.

5 Standard Contractor Requirements:
5.1 Must be shipped fully assembled and ready to use.
5.2 Maintenance Sustainability Requirements: Continued parts support is required for the projected life cycle of the equipment plus 5 years.
