We relied on "From My House To Yours" to care for our dog Socks, who is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and our dog Jasper, who is a Black Lab/Border Collie mix, during two separate week-long vacations over the past two years. Our pet sitters have been Karen DeBias, Karen’s son Alex Becker, and Meghan Michalek.

Upon returning from both trips, we were greeted at our door not only by our dogs, (who incidentally, looked and felt GREAT), but also with personally-written, detailed, day-to-day reports of each sitter's visit, which were laid out on our kitchen island in a very organized fashion. It was evident from those reports alone that our sitters had spent a great deal of time with our dogs during our absences, and had also taken the time to relay the extent of their quality care to us.

While we were already acclimated to Karen's high level of care giving, as she had pet-sat for Socks on other occasions before beginning her business, we were very pleased to discover that her employees extended the same personalized service. We were also amazed to discover, upon our return from one trip, that our pet sitters had "taught" Jasper to do his business not in the yard, but rather just outside the yard where it meets the tree line to our woods. Jasper has, since that time, perched on the very edge of the yard to do his duty. No more mess----at least, none that we need to clean up!!

We both think that "From My House To Yours" is a wonderful and necessary business addition to the Fox Valley area and will most definitely have Karen and her group pet sit for us again in the future!

Karen DeBias, owner of the pet sitting service “From My House To Yours” has been caring for my cat, Angelo, for nearly two years. Based on my experience over this timeframe, and with no hesitation, I highly recommend her service.

I initially chose Karen because it was immediately apparent from her Internet Web site that she runs a professional business. When she visited my home to meet Angelo and discuss her service I was further impressed with the ancillary services that are bundled with the basic animal care and feeding. Those additional services gave me confidence that my house and my cat would be responsibly cared for.

Karen has also given a lot of thought to the various contingencies that could occur and has taken steps to ensure that Angelo would receive care under those circumstances. Her thoroughness allows me to leave Angelo in good hands and enjoy my time away, worry free.

Finally, Karen is a good communicator. Any uneasy feeling or curiosity about how Angelo is doing has been promptly responded to by Karen with a text message or phone call.

In summary, I recommend “From My House To Yours” for your pet sitting needs. I am confident that you will be as pleased as I am.
