·  guillotine

·  laminating pouches – credit card size. To produce one complete set of all three card sorts including headers and blanks you will need 112 pouches

·  heatseal laminator

Production Tips:

·  You may wish to be selective and reduce the number of cards in each set. This will reduce the cost and the time to run the exercise but may also reduce the impact.

·  Consider how many full sets you are going to need. The ideal may be to have one set per person, but the card sort will still be effective if a participants work in pairs or threes.

·  Always print at least 4 blanks for each set of the 3 card sorts

·  Print each set on a different colour card as this will make it much easier to run the exercise and sort the cards back into sets after use.

·  Print the ESECT logo on to the reverse of the sheets of cards (the layout of the sheet should ensure an accurate fit)

·  Use a different colour card for the Header cards

·  Guillotine the card along the printed lines – this will ensure that the individual cards fit into a standard credit card laminating pouch with sufficient margin all round to produce a good seal.

·  Seal the cards within the laminate pouches ensuring a complete seal. These cards will now be durable and the blanks can be written on using water based pens
