  • Students should NOT just show-up at Commencement without having registered to attend the event. In the past, students have been told to just show-up, however, that negatively impacts a student’s experience - they will not be in line, they will not receive their diploma (if they are eligible), marshals are scrambling to assist them, Commencement staff and advisors are scrambling to ensure things are in order, etc. When in doubt, students should sign up for Commencement and cancel if their plans change.
  • Tickets are not required for students or their guests.
  • TBA - 2017 Commencement Address speaker.
  • The Graduation Fair will be held from 10 am-4 pm on April 24-25 in the OSU Beaver Store. Students may order regalia, announcements, yearbooks, make contact with the alumni association, and have their graduation questions answered at the Grad Fair.

  • Cascades students inquiring about honor cords should contact the Registrar’s Office.
  • Graduates for upcoming summer or fall termsare not eligible to receive honor cords.
