Requirements:

-Applicant must be a student who is either or whose parent is either and employee of an AMP – Ohio electric system or is an employee of AMP – Ohio

-applicant must either live with the parent outlined above or live at another residence within the area in which that parent is employed

--applicant must be a graduating senior planning to attend college

Minimum 3.5 GPA for Midwest Electric General Scholarship – six scholarships awarded locally

(Proper vocational or technical school must educate beyond high school and credits earned must be transferable to a state-accredited college.) They must have a current career average of 3.8 (based on a 4-point scale) or better. Eligible applicants also may be accepted and then enrolled in an accredited in an accredited school of nursing, working toward a degree or graduation.
