  1. Please state the subcommittees strategic focus for the month:

At the November 4thmeeting,the DSR received status updates on SIM Steering Committee focused work, Use of Primary Care Practice Reports, SIM Core Targets, and discussion of next steps to continue the work on Advancing Primary Care Payment Reform to include recommendations to the SIM Steering Committee.

  1. Please state the subcommittees key findings/work/impact for the month:

There was consensus from the subcommittee that Primary Care Practices could benefit from a more indepth assessment of how the practices are currently using the Practice Reports. Recommendation included surveying each of the practices on how they are using the reports and challenges they face.

A review of the SIM Dashboard identified a recommended action to use expertise of the DSR Subcommittee to preview prior to release to public.

Recommendations to present to SIM Steering committee on Advancing Primary Care Payment Reformcontinue to be refined and include 6 Key Elements: Leadership for Change, Practice Transformation support for Care Redesign, Multi-Payer Payment Reform, Transparency and Accountability, Patient and Community Engagement, and Supportive Benefit Design (VBID)

Subcommittee Members are encouraged to participate in the December 8th SIM Annual Meeting. The next SIM DSR scheduled meeting will be on February 3, 2016 with agenda items TBD
