1. CALL TO ORDER.
The meeting of the LaRue County Board of Education was called to order by Price Smith, Chairman at 7:00 p.m.

The Pledge to the American Flag was led by Mike Hornback, followed by a moment of silent meditation.
2. AGENDA ADOPTED
A motion was made by Linda Pearman, with a second to the motion by Dawn Conner to adopt the Agenda.

Accepted the recommendation of employment of Roy Walker as Assistant Softball Coach at LaRue County High School, effective March 29, 2013.
Accepted the resignation of Andrea Greene, 8th Grade Science Teacher at LaRue County Middle School, effective at the end of the 2012-2013 school year, accepted March 20, 2013.
Accepted the resignation of Katie Wheatley, Freshman Softball Coach at LaRue County High School, effective March 20, 2013, accepted March 21, 2013.
Accepted the resignation of Carol Underwood as Special Education Teacher at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, effective July 1, 2013, accepted March 21, 2013.

A Motion to approve consent agenda was made by Joanna Hinton with a second the motion by Mike Hornback to approve the following Consent Agenda Items:

A motion was made by Mike Hornback, with a second to the motion by Joanna Hinton, to approve the SBDM Allocations as Final.

6. CONSIDER WASTE REMOVAL CONTRACT BIDS FOR 2013-14
A motion was made by Joanna Hinton, with a second to the motion by Mike Hornback, to accept the low bid of Waste Management of KY.
RESULT OF VOTE: 5 YEAS/O NAYS
7. CONSIDER FY14 SALARIES
A motion was made by Mike Hornback, with a second to the motion by Dawn Conner, to approve the Certified and Classified Salary Schedules with a 1% increase for 2013-2014.

8. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Joanna Hinton, with a second to the motion by Mike Hornback, to adjourn this meeting of the LaRue County Board of Education.
