50MINUTES

The Minutes of the meeting held on 14th August 2017 were approved and signed.

51NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

The Clerk reported that no further progress had been made because details of sites submitted to Cheshire East Council during its own recent Call for Siteswere still awaited.

52NOTICEBOARDS

Cllr Smith reported that Cheshire East Council is due to install the Holly Green noticeboard and reinstate the Sugar Lane noticeboard within a couple of weeks.

53MEADOWSIDE ALLOTMENTS RENT REVIEW

Following consideration of the Allotments’ budget for 2018-19 members resolved that the rents should not be increased for the allotment year commencing 1st February 2018. It was further resolved that the water rates should not be charged for separately for the allotment year commencing 1st February 2018.

54SHARED SPEED INDICATOR DEVICES

The Clerk reported on a meeting with Paul Redwood of Home Assist and a representative each from Pott Shrigley and Rainow Parish Councils. There had since arisen an IT issue with downloading the data from the SID but a software fix was being supplied by the manufacturer of the SIDs which was expected resolve the problem. The Clerk confirmed that the data should be received in the same format as the Police used to send.

55HIGHWAYS

The Clerk reported that in correspondence to David Rutley MP Cheshire East Council had confirmed that the double yellow lines scheme on Legh Road were scheduled to be marked on-site before 25th September 2017 with the restrictions being enforceable from that date.

Cllr Smith reported that the pavement along Mill Lane, west of Adlington Hall,still required spraying and clearing.

56PLANNING APPLICATIONS

17/4256MSprink Farm, Dickens Lane, Poynton

Outline planning application for the demolition of all buildings and structures and the erection of up to 150 dwellings with 30% affordable homes, public open space, landscaping and sustainable drainage system (SuDS) and vehicular access point from Dickens Lane. All matters reserved except for means of access. Whilst raising no objections to the application the Parish Council is very concerned about the likely increase in the levels of traffic on the rural lanes of Adlington resulting from this development and would wish to see suitable mitigation measures to be a condition of any planning permission relating to this site.
