Internationally Known “Origins Speaker” and Senior Fellow at Discovery Institute, Dr. William Dembski, Rescheduled to be at The College of New Jersey This Tuesday at 7:30 PM and Council Rock Newtown Middle School This Wednesday at 7:30 PM to Give Lecture Q&A on Understanding Intelligent Design

EWING, NJ (PRWEB) – March 27, 2006 – Mathematician, philosopher, author/editor of numerous books including “Debating Design: From Darwin to DNA” (co-edited with Michael Ruse), and Senior Fellow at Discovery Institute to give a lecture titled “Understanding Intelligent Design” this Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Admission to the event is free and a Q&A session will follow.

Dr. Dembski will speak and field questions in New Jersey at The College of New Jersey, Kendall Hall, this Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 7:30 PM. Park in Lot 3 or Deck (www.tcnj.edu/~parking).

Dr. Dembski will speak and field questions in Pennsylvania at Council Rock Newtown Middle School Auditorium, 116 Richboro Rd in Newtown, on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 7:30 PM.

About Dr. William Dembski

Dr. Dembski is a mathematician and philosopher and is currently the Carl F.H. Henry Professor of Science and Theology at Southern Seminary in Louisville where he heads its Center for Theology and Science. He is also a senior fellow with Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture in Seattle and the executive director of the International Society for Complexity, Information, and Design. Previously he was on the faculty of Baylor University where he headed the first intelligent design think-tank at a major research university: The Michael Polanyi Center.

Dr. Dembski has published articles in mathematics, philosophy, and theology journals and is the author/editor of more than ten books. He has taught at institutions such as Northwestern University, the University of Notre Dame, and has held National Science Foundation graduate and postdoctoral fellowships.
