There was a discrepancy in registered participants and participants from the countries.

The minutes do not have the information that the next meeting in 2016 is recommended to be in Japan. This will be included.

Minutes are approved unanimously with the modification of the mentioning of the Japan meeting.

Uwe Brückner is excused due to personal reasons. Prof. Chaudry discussed the account. The account is in the positive. The Cologne meeting spent $ 7,376.00.

Nominations for the President-Elect: Prof. Hiroyuki Hirasawa, unanimously accepted.

Sites for the 2012 meeting:

Chicago, Denver, Miami, Boston.

Boston is quite expensive and availability may be a problem.

Therefore Chicago, Denver, and Miami were taken into consideration.

Miami Beach: Convenient for Europeans and South Americans. It combines city and resort.

Chicago(downtown): Due to the fact that it is a long distance from the airport to downtown Chicago.

Denver: Resort hotels (located in the mountains). This is an inconvenience for some people. Not good accessible for Europeans and South Americans, better for Asians.

San Antonio: Recommended by Dr. Pruitt.

Meeting date: June 15th (council meeting), June 16th-19th (meeting)

Registration fees will be dependent on the cost of food and audio visual charges. Now is a good time for negotiation.

European: Chicago and Miami

Japan: Chicago

Brazil: Miami

Bill ranking: Miami, Chicago, Denver

For the next IFSS meeting, we will recommend Miami (first choice) and Chicago (second choice) to the US Shock Society.

The Secretary will take responsibility for updating the Internet.

Mauricio put together the constitution of the IFSS:

Article VIII and X are missing

Article VIII are bylaws

Article X can be omitted

Article VI: the council members should be designated by the respective member societies

Please forward any changes to Prof Chaudry by the end of June. Special request to Dr. Pruitt for help

Al Ayala: Program Committee should have members of all Societies and the Program Chair or Elect should be pushed back for that year.

When international meeting is not US than no US meeting (Roche e Silva), but it depends on the finances because one loses the revenue (Pruitt, Clemens)

Representatives:

Reinaldo Salomao for Brazil

Hiyoyuki Hirasawa for Japan

To be determined - Europe (not the President or President-Elect)

Cologne declaration status!!

Amount per participating member for each society should be transferred to each society from Cologne meeting

Meeting was adjourned at 12:35 PM.
