Minutes of the last meeting.

Victoria read through the minutes from December

2010.

We looked at the photographs that were taken last time. We laughed at some but agreed they were good.

LDAN meeting.

This went ok! It is better to have a little group. Lynne went with Victoria to this meeting.

There was a lot of work done.

We told them that people with a learning disability are not stakeholders. It is their life.

There was an idea to run an accessible conference for people a with learning disability to find out about research.

There are 4 groups that take part. All will have

to run an accessible conference for people with

a learning disability.

We are doing one in July. We need to tell

everyone what is research is. In the morning

people will find out about research.

In the afternoon people will be able to do some

research.

We can have a champion for example in how

to make easy read information. Then we could have workshop like we do in TRAC.

Suzy runs the LDAN meetings and wants to come to a TRAC meeting. Suzy wants to set

up set up a meeting in Bangor. She hopes to

come in March as there is a RAG meeting as

well.

Graduation.

It was a very nice day Great to see Glayne

Caerphilly people first, RCT people first. All Wales people first and staff from the university of Glamorgan went to cheer Glayne on.

Teaching.

Organisations that work with chiropractors have said that chiropractors now have to have training so they know how to work with people with a learning disability. This is on March 24th RCT people first can do this. If anyone has any ldeas let Victoria Know things like.

Communication.

Health needs.

How many people with a learning disability go to a

chiropractor.

Lynne asked Victoria when the student nurses

Are coming on placement.

Penny Llewelyn who used to work in the

University is now working for a health

magazine. She wants us to write article.

We will ask Penny to come to a

TRAC meeting to explain what she wants.

Website.

We gave feedback on the website on the inclusive

research website said what we didn’t like and said how to Make changes.

We will have feedback in the next meeting

about the teaching and interviewing students.

We will have to plan the teaching for the session

with the chiropractors. If anyone has any ideas they can bring them in to the next meeting.
