Local Retailer, The White Butterfly, Expands
December 18, 2012 (Jackson, NJ) – Nine years ago, when Mike Kafton and Michelle Katz purchased the property at 200 N. County Line Road, they realized the need in this area of opening a unique gift shop boutique.
The demand for the beautiful and unique products they sell motivated the owners to remodel and expand the store. They were able to add clothing as well as a fitting room, giving customers lots of space to move around and browse through the large and unique selection of home décor, jewelry, clothing, candles and many other items. The ever popular Trollbeads & Chamilia draw customers from far & wide because of the great selection & personal service offered.
Lines such as Alex & Ani, Lenox, Mariposa, Jim Shore, Willow Tree, Foundation Angels, Mud Pie, Bridgewater candles, to name a few with a great selection of fashion jewelry and unique clothing make The White Butterfly a great shopping experience.
The free coffee bar featuring coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and apple cider along with cookies makes this a stress free place to shop.
The White Butterfly will be holding a Grand Reopening party in the New Year.
“The store looks fantastic! Since they remodeled, I can’t wait to return each week to see what new items have come in. It’s lovely to have a boutique-type of shopping experience without having to fight crowds or pay a lot. The prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the product lines they sell. And they wrap for free all year long!” , says Diane Bravata, a long time customer of the store.
People travel from long distances to shop at The White Butterfly because the quality, price and unique product lines are exactly what the customers demand.
Social media has played a huge role in their continued success as well. They have free give-aways on a weekly basis using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. They promote their store by offering a free gift immediately when you use your phone to check-in on Facebook when you step into the store.
Karma may play a role as well in their success. Every opportunity to support local charities, donate gift baskets, partner with the Food Bank, and most recently a local Hurricane Sandy relief organization named, WE ARE TEAM JERSEY. The Owners of The White Butterfly are very community-oriented and believe in giving back.
The White Butterfly is selling t-shirts in the store with total proceeds going to help WE ARE TEAM JERSEY help survivors of Hurricane Sandy and are donating 25% of the sales of all shore-related items.
This Sat., Dec 22nd, The White Butterfly will host a TEAM JERSEY fundraiser with Santa and his elves in attendance at The White Butterfly. All proceeds go to benefit TEAM JERSEY.
