Kentucky Humanities Policy on paying Self-Published/Self-Supply Authors:
Where possible, Kentucky Humanities will order books from the publisher. If author prefers to supply books, author must agree to supply them at a 40% discount, requiring no pre-payment, and to accept returns of unsold stock. Payments to self-supply authors are based on sales figures from the cash registers at KBF.Self-supply authors will not be compensated for books that are not processed through the cash registers. Print-on-Demand titles must be supplied by author. Payments will be sent no later than 12/31/18.
