CRICKHOWELL TOWN COUNCIL

The following is the report of the Planning Meeting that was held on Tuesday 15th October 2013 in the Crickhowell Resource & Information Centre, Crickhowell, commencing at 7pm.

PRESENT:

Councillors: V P Games, G J Jackson, A M D'Anna, D Williams, P Williams, R Dykes, C M Dietz and the Mayor, A Jeremiah.

PCSO Stephen Legg, Local Neighbourhood Police

Cllr Jeremiah opened the meeting and introduced PCSO Stephen Legg who was asked to attend the meeting to be introduced to Council. PCSO Legg said that he has worked for Dyfed Powys Police since 2005, he has been the PCSO for Hay-on-Wye but was sent to Crickhowell on a temporary transfer during the Summer and has recently been given the permanent position, based in Crickhowell Police Station. The new Inspector, Matt Scrace was also due to attend this meeting however was disappointed to have to attend another appointment but would like to come next month. PC Andy Pole is currently off sick due to an injury acquired policing the Brecon Jazz Festival however PC Mark Kean is covering the Neighbourhood Policing duties for Crickhowell. PCSO Legg gave out some crime statistics for Crickhowell during August, September and so far in October, which included crimes committed during the Green Man Festival and asked to remain during the rest of the meeting.

It was proposed by Cllr P Williams, seconded by Cllr D Williams and agreed by all those who had been present at that meeting, that the report of the Planning Meeting which was held on the 17th September 2013 be signed as a true record of that which took place.

Cllr Dykes asked if Council had received notification about the Inspectors decision regarding the allocation sites for Crickhowell as she believed there was an update on the BBNPA Website. The Clerk had received no new information on this, members agreed to put this on the agenda for the November Planning meeting.

Cllr's D Mosley and N Jones had looked at the above applications and forwarded a report in their absence which Cllr Jeremiah read out. Cllr D Williams proposed that Council have no adverse comments, this was seconded by Cllr Games and unanimously agreed.

Cllr's D Mosley and N Jones had also looked at this application and forwarded a report, Cllr Jeremiah read this out. Cllr D Williams proposed that Council have no adverse comments, this was seconded by Cllr Dietz and unanimously agreed.

3. Welsh Government re Neath to Abergavenny Trunk Road (A465) dualling and slip roads. Circulate.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 7.15pm.
