· Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. We are happy to serve you this this way!
· Wedding dates will be reserved on a first come basis.
· Contact the church secretary (722-3101) to make sure the dates are available and to reserve the date.
· The person requesting use of the Wayside Chapel must be present to ensure that the facility is used in accordance with policy. This person is also responsible for coordinating and implementing any needed set-up, take down, and clean up.
· Any damage done to facilities and/or the furnishings by the person or group responsible shall make repairs to the satisfaction of the Council of Bethel CRC.
· General Policy Rules:
o Any group using the Wayside Chapel will clean-up all areas used and replace all equipment used.
o The use of tobacco or alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
· Weddings
o Most weddings at Bethel CRC and its facilities (including the Wayside Chapel) will involve the pastors of our congregation. However, it is certainly permissible for clergy from other congregations to officiate. In such circumstances, please inform Bethel of the name of the pastor and church affiliation for approval by the elders of Bethel CRC.
o In all cases, weddings are considered worship services and must reflect the Biblical theology of marriage as a sacred covenantal union between a man and a woman united by God.
o Music sung and/or played must not be irreverent in nature.
