PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION TO THE

FIRST YEAR OF THE 5-YEAR B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) DEGREE PROGRAMME

June27, 2015

  1. All the candidates for admission along with their parents are requested to sit in the EXAMINATION HALL (FIRST FLOOR). Candidates are requested to collect the Admission Kit.
  1. The candidate and parents will then report at Counter-I for submission of certificates. The candidates should submit the duly filled in and signed application form along with the following Original Documents:

iS.S.C. or 10th Class Marks Statement / Pass Certificate containing the date of birth

iiMarks statement of 12th Standard or equivalent

iii12th Class Study Certificate and Residence Certificate in Telangana for a minimum period of four years in case of candidates allotted under Resident Students of Telangana

ivConduct Certificate

vTransfer Certificate

viMigration Certificate

viiSC/ST/Disability Certificate, wherever applicable

viiiCLAT-2015 Admit Card

ixFour Stamp size photographs for ID and Library Card (mention your name on back of the photo)

xMedical Report on Blood Group

xiProof of fee paid to CLAT Office and NALSAR

xiiOriginal passport and visa alongwith Photostat copy in case of Foreign National Category candidates.

Note: These originals will be kept in safe custody of the University during the five years period. If the student needs original certificate for any purpose he/she may obtain the same on a written request and to be returned within a period of two weeks.

  1. After submission of documents, the Wardens will allot room in the Halls of Residence at Counter-IIon submissionof duly filled and signed Hostel Application Form and Local Guardian Form. The local guardian form is not compulsory. The form shall be submitted by the candidates who have a person in Hyderabad identified by the parents for their visits or stay during holidays. The students can occupy the room from the date of admission itself or otherwise they can come and occupy the room on June 28, 2015 after the Orientation programme.
  1. The Indian Bank is located at Shameerpet to operate the Savings Bank A/c and Indian Bank ATM Center is located inside the campus. The students can open their Savings Bank A/c with the Indian Bank. The prescribed forms are in the Admission Kit. The application for opening the Bank Account shall be submitted to the Officers of the Indian Bank at Counter-III.
  1. Collect the receipt for the payment made to NALSAR from the Staff of theAccounts Office at Counter – IV.
  1. The candidate along with the parents will meet the Vice-Chancellor in his chamber.
  1. The Orientation Programme for the students is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2015in the R.N. Jhunjhunwala Conference Hall.
  1. The classes will commence at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 01, 2015.

Note:The departmental storesare situated in the cellar of the Administration Block and near the Stadium (opposite Boys Hostel). Those who wish to purchase mattresses, pillows, stationery, etc., can contact the vendors.
