Biome Project DUE Wednesday, August 24th!!!

You will research information about your assigned biome at home or at the library. You will create a Travel Brochure, Poster,PowerPoint, Movie, or Children’s book about your biome. Your project will need to include all of the following information.

1. Biome image and description. You should include unique features of this biome in your description.

2. Image and name of sixdifferent species of animal life characteristic of the biome

3. Image and name of fourdifferent species of plant life characteristic of that biome

4. Onegraph of annual precipitation

5. One graph of average annual temperatures

6. One map showing where in the world the biome is located

7. Choose 2 animals and 2 plants (advanced choose 3 of each) to research what characteristics better allow them to survive within this biome. Make sure you discuss how the average precipitation and temperatures from your graphs affect these organisms.

8. What resources are found within the biome that benefits agriculture and industry? Ex: medicines, logging, farming, etc.
