Dear

Direct Payments

We wish to advise you that the London Borough of Bexley areintroducing a Prepaid card. This will replacethe current transfer of monies to your dedicated bank account, which is our current method of providing your Direct Payment.

This card will be issued directly to you, by a company called Prepaid Financial Services. The date of this transfer will be Monday 15th June 2015. I have enclosed a leaflet and schedule of frequently asked questions, for your information.

Within two weeks of the date of this letter, you will receive your card, by post. At this stage, we ask that you follow the accompanying instructions and activate the card. This will give you an opportunity to look at the website and become familiar with the functions. Please do not be concerned if you do not have access to a computer, as all transactions can be made by telephone with Pre Paid Financial Services.

Currently we visit you on an annual review basis, to check your documentation, this will no longer be necessary, as your client portal will allow you to upload your supporting documents, for example HMRC invoices, Personal Assistant pay slips and Agency invoices. Again please do not be concerned if you are unable to do this, as alternatively the documents can be forwarded on a four weekly basis, directly to;

As part of this transition period, a Broker or member of Inspire will visit you at home to assist with closure of your existing Bank Account. These visits will take place between 15th June and 10th July 2015 and we would ask that at this meeting, you have up to date bank statements and a schedule of expected payments available, to enable us to conclude this task.
