Description: Children communicate with adults from a very young age. Therefore, it is crucial for adults to be intentional communicators with children in order to develop a positive and strong relationship with them. Children of all cultures want to know they are loved and that they can trust the adults in their lives. Come learn how children communicate with us in a variety of ways and how to intentionally provide opportunities for the children in your life to communicate.

Description: This training will answer questions about why emotional outbursts occur in children age 2-5 and older and how you can be a coach for children working through them, using the Conscious Discipline model. You will also see guidance and discipline strategies you can use in your classroom immediately!

Description: This session will discuss research findings about how watching the PBS show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is associated with preschool children’s social and emotional development. Strategies for incorporating lessons from the show into the classroom and into the home to help young children learn social and emotional skills will be discussed.

Session: Baby Doll Circle Time and the Implementation of I Love You Rituals CDRC 114 (toddler classroom)

Description: Strengthening attachment, attunement, and social play between children and caregivers through interactive Baby Doll experiences. During this session, we will be using I love you rituals and baby doll circle time to promote how to develop and help social relationships bloom. This is an active learning experience.
