·  Texas Tech University:40 students, participate in student science fair for middle school students, seminars series invite other departments.
·  Union University-faculty come and talk about their research, secure tours in industry, attend St. Jude, VSP interested, community service activities food bank
·  University of Florida: last year had lecture series, once lecture per month, many socials events like bowling.
·  University of Mississippi: 50 members, back to school lunch in a park, 3-4 industry speakers.
·  University of Puerto Rico: orientation time in August and September, focused last year a lot on community service, invited speaker previous chair/alumni, dinner for homeless, 5K HIV race, work in 3 kings workshop( collected used toy, fixed them and distributed them ) challenge in school is to keep members bc they have a small school, but are working on it.
·  University of Tennessee, Memphis- student presentations for journal club, provide pizza, academic seminars, one social event take to baseball or basketball games.
·  West Virginia University, SPOD SIP event, volunteering and outreach with Ronald McDonald House, staying that their hospital, tours with industry and NIH, one seminar this fall.
