Product Coordinator / Assistant

Position Overview

The product coordinator/assistant is a position of marketing department. The key function ofthis position is to assist product development team to coordinate the new product development related projects within the company to ensure those projects are finished as planned.

Essential Functions

Responsible for managing the following:

  • Product Bill Of Material (PBOM) form issuing, checking, filing and database management
  • Product item/part number set up and management
  • Product item code (EAN, UPC) set up and management
  • Sample management, including Sample Request Form (SRF) set up and management, sample delivery, sample inventory management, and all the samples for office display, shelf display and show room
  • Product master (list) updating
  • Product patent file documentation
  • Product development projects tracking

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree
  • English and Mandarin Chinese language proficiency
  • 1+ years of product assistant or project management/coordination experience is a plus

Proficiencies

  • Desire to work in consumer products industry, passionate and positive attitude is a must
  • Good time management skills
  • Be able to managing tasks in the changing environment
  • Detail, accountable and be able to manage multi-taskswith quality
  • Can and be willing to work under pressure
  • Good at MS office software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team work spirit

Interaction and Environment

Reports To: Associate Product Manager

Work areas are inside in a climate-controlled environment with moderate backgroundnoise.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions

Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 95% of time is spent working at a desk. Balance of time (approximately 5%) is spent moving around work areas.

Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers

Vision: Ability to effectively use a computer screen and interpret printed materials, memos and other appropriate paperwork.

Lifting/Carrying: Ability to transport files and supplies.

Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to access files and supplies.

Reaching/Handling: Ability to input information into computer systems and retrieve and work with appropriate paperwork, equipment and supplies.
